I wanted some blackout curtains for my living room because I have a projector instead of a TV. I ordered these cause they're mad affordable and they were the only curtains I could find (at the time at least) in a shade of pink that didn't look like it was trying to apologize for being pink. They have some nice linen-looking fabric texture that I really appreciate. They markedly reduce the amount of Northeast winter cold that makes it through my 1960's picture windows (a lot, at baseline). That said, I don't know how anyone decided to call these "blackout," because they are definitely not that. Since the ones I have are very pink, my living room is overpowered with excessively warm light all day, which tires my eyes. But, if that's not a problem for you, these are worth their price. I have a set of sheers hung behind them and their diamond-y pattern shows through the pink panels a little and it's a pretty pleasant effect that makes up a little for their not-that-blackout-iness. ... show more

I’m glad I was able to find this, as I only needed one, and this was not a two pack. The curtain sufficiently blocks out light, the fabric appears to be of decent quality, and well, not overly heavy, definitely does not feel cheap for the money, if I ever needed another, I’d buy this again.

These are not room darkening. The picture is of them hanging in my room and they have a set of shears on the other side of them and you can still see how much light comes through. There's also mini blinds. But besides that they're a really nice curtain I like the colors and and they're not too heavy for the curtain rod. ... show more

I have these hanging in my living room over large windows and they are great, b/c they do let in some light (just a teeny bit) but they block out definitely enough so you can watch TV (the TV is across the room from the giant window with these drapes). My decorator picked them out. They are an off white ("cream") and i have bright white walls. I thought they would clash but they actually dont. They look fabulous. I bought 2 42" panels to cover a 59" door and they aren't wide enough to cover the whole door. You probably need 2x the width of the door/window if you want the wavy look. I removed 1 star for that because there's nothing in the description explaining what size to get. Other than that they are great, they don't block all the light but I didn't want that anyways, plus the outside facing side is white which reflects heat which I really like. ... show more

I had 2 issues. 1) my neighbor has these incredibly bright security lights. They are on all night. 2) my room gets hot in the morning. The photo attached is what my room looks like at noon. I need to scoot the curtain over a bit but it does its job. My room according to my thermostat was 1 degree cooler than normal. My neighbors lights for the first time didnt phase me. I hung them on a tension rod (also purchased on amazon) between my window and the plantation shutters. I considered window tint but this was easier and I can move them if I want to let sun in. ... show more
