I was excited about the prospect of a more affordable entry into the Breville Barista Pro experience with this "remanufactured" unit. Unfortunately, the reality fell drastically short of expectations. While the machine had clearly been cleaned and repackaged, the condition in which it arrived was deeply concerning. The water tank had an unnoticeable crack at the bottom of it. leading to an immediate and substantial leak that soaked my entire countertop – hardly the mark of a machine in "good condition." Adding insult to injury, the inadequate packaging resulted in multiple, noticeable dents and scratches across the machine's exterior. For a product at this price point, regardless of its remanufactured status, such significant flaws are simply unacceptable and speak volumes about the quality control process. I promptly returned this defective unit. My advice to potential buyers: seriously consider investing in a new machine. The extra cost will likely save you from the disappointment, hassle, and potential damage associated with receiving a poorly handled and damaged "remanufactured" product like the one I experienced. This was a frustrating waste of time and a stark reminder that sometimes, you truly do get what you pay for. ... show more

It comes with 4 baskets to use for your coffee, aI initially was using the wrong basket and it was causing inconsistent shot sizes ( my mistake) once I realized my mistake no problems. This machine is great. I had a Breville Express for a brief period, which is nice but the pro version is much nicer. I really like the look, quality and espresso it makes. Should be a 5 star but I docked one stat because of fit, you gaps are quite big and areas of polish is poor. For a $800 machine, it needs to be perfect. Breville quality control went down over the years.

I was initially unsure about buying a refurbished coffee machine, but I’m so glad I did! It arrived packaged like new, complete with all the manuals and accessories, each item neatly wrapped and sealed. I love this machine. I have programmed the single shot with inside grinder at #4 and the outside dial at#4 for 8 seconds to achieve 10 grams of ground beans. The extraction time is 25 seconds and the taste is excellent. For the double shot the grinder time 13 seconds and get 18grams to pull a 30 sec shot. Again the taste excellent.
