The media could not be loaded. After staying at a friend’s house for a few days and drinking espresso every day, when I got home, my first order of business was to buy a Nespresso for myself. Because of their prices, I decided to give it a shot at a buying a Used - Very Good machine out of the Amazon Warehouse. I am wowed and very happy that the entire Nespresso came in the original package, with plastic wrapped around every single item as if it was brand new, completely unused and I still got the included original coffee/espresso capsules, and I pay less than 50% of the original price for it - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The Nespresso is incredibly easy to use and every command is based on how many times you press the one button it has. The Nespresso recognizes each capsule’s bar code, so you don’t have to select the amount of water for each brew. It washes itself, which you are advised to do as a first time user and/or every few days, particularly if after not using the machine for a while. The capsule options that came with it ranges from espresso (1.35 Oz) to Alto XL (14 Oz). I am brewing a Gran Lungo (5 Oz) Arondio on the video. It brews as a full bodied, foamy black coffee, and it is delicious. I most often take my coffee/espresso black, so I haven’t gotten around to using the Aeroccino yet, so I’ll update this review once I have. My biggest con, which is more of an annoyance really, is that the capsules per se, don’t specify their sizes and you kind of have to know which names means what. The sample box that comes with this bundle has the “cheat sheet”, so that simplifies it, but I have been using the Nespresso app as a guide. I bought three extra sleeves of different sizes on Amazon, so I have to keep referring to the App to ensure I’ll brew the right type of coffee. I have also decided that I’ll be ordering the next Vertuo capsules from Nespresso directly as they are the same price, have the same 2-3 day shipping, but mainly for the fact that Nespresso sends you a recycling bag with free return for the used capsules; and I find that an incredible idea. Overall, (so far as I have owned it for 2 days, brewed 3x) I am extremely happy with my purchase and absolutely recommend Nespresso. ... show more

We travel in Italy every year and come home wanting to still have wonderful Italian coffee and espresso but due to our busy lives don't use our full service espresso machine everyday because of the time and maintenance. With our new Nespresso VertuoPlus machine by Breville our Italian coffee and espresso needs are perfectly fulfilled. We have used the Nespresso machines in Italy but this version is superior because it makes both Italian coffee and espresso just by putting what capsule size you want in. The coffee and espresso are at the correct temperature which was lacking in other versions. This bundle comes with the milk/cream frother which also gives the option of warm or cold frothed or unfrothed. The machine is simple and elegant in style. The Centrifusion technology of the machine reading the code on each capsule gives the perfect Italian coffee with crema or espresso every time. There are preset amounts of water but there is also a way for the user to determine more or less water and the machine will remember this setting until it is changed. There is little to no cleanup, the machine cleans itself beautifully and the pods are neatly dropped into the receptacle in the back for easy cleanup, you never have to fish the capsule out yourself. I recommend reading the user manual as there are some tips on the water tank needing to being placed and removed to and from the base at an angle and that the lid to the machine needs no effort to open as it is on a lever system that only requires the lightest of touch to open or close. The Nespresso coffee and espresso in the capsules are high quality coffee. The capsules are easy to order from Amazon. We enjoyed the sampler provided with this bundle so we could taste all of the choices and decide what we wanted to reorder. I am giving this as presents to friends! To conclude I would highly recommend the Nespresso VertuoPlus by Breville to anyone who enjoys Italian coffee and espresso. ... show more

    • Coffee is amazing, its hot enough, and there are no leaks.
I did a lot of research on this system, spent time reading the reviews by Italians who purchase the same system. The Italians said this was better than il bar ... only issues were the coffee wasn't hot enough and leaking. So far no leaking ... again no leaking ... again no leaking. I did follow review suggestions and put the water reservoir directly to the rear, and I did hear a click when I did it. The coffee it makes is amazing, just the aroma is just incredible! The Italians were right it is totally amazing better than "Il bar", as I too have spent some time in a good number of "Il bar's" The Aerocino III is great and makes the best cappuccino foam per the Italians. Using heavy cream also makes great latte as another reviewer suggested. As far as the heat. I bought this Vertuo Plus because temperature was not an issue in the reviews as in the reviews of the earlier versions by all manufacturers. It would be nice to have a way to control/raise the temperature, but the coffee is definitely as hot as you'll get from any coffee place in Italy or any Starbuck's Reserve. It is damn good. Each of the Vertuo Plus cups have a bar code that apparently determines how the coffee is brewed as well as the size of the drink: either "lungo" or espresso sizes. Nevertheless you can use the MyCup system to re-use the cups putting your own coffee within any of the cups. Better for the environment and still making very impressive brews. ... show more
