I waited for a few months to post my review. I originally purchased this massager for my neck and shoulders, but it’s great on my lower back, as well! The heat is not intense, so don’t expect to sweat. However, in the colder months, this is really nice on my back. It automatically stops after 15 minutes, but you can start up again for a different area, if you need to. It plugs up perfectly in my recliner and I have a nice spa day for myself with this massager on my shoulders. ... show more

I bought this on sale because the knots in my back are constantly wearing out the motors on these types of back massagers. Anyway, this one was nice for a while despite a strange quirk that required holding the power button to start it instead of pressing it like every other one. Very confusing. Long story short, there's a secondary fabric inside of the massager that's become stretched from use and regularly gets caught in the motors, so I'm constantly having to stop, unzip it, and yank this fabric out to get a few more minutes of it working properly. It also overheats pretty fast, even with the heat setting off. I usually average 2-3 months with these types of massagers before problems like this start appearing, so it happening so quickly is disheartening. I suppose it having a zipper so that you can fix this is a plus, though, because that's not very common. So there are some pros and cons. ... show more

This massager is nice because it is a simple product made so that the elderly and children can use it easily. Just plug it in, press the on button and it works. You can also turn off the lights with a click if you wish. It is a very well made product. My family loves it!
