  • Picture is NOT glass
Color: Black
the picture is plastic, NOT glass. Had I known I would not have ordered. It works fine, I purchased it as a replacement for another brand we had for years that started leaking. I choose this one because of the larger size pitcher and did not think to check to see if it was glass because I assumed if it was for hot or cold tea/coffee it would be glass. We are keeping because ours went on the blink and we drink tea daily but would not buy again due to the plastic picture. ... show more

  • Love it
Color: Blue
A year later, still loving it. This tea maker is in constant use so I’m glad it’s such a pretty blue because it’s always out on the counter. It brews nice, it doesn’t take too long, it doesn’t leak. It’s simple, pour water in, put the tea bags in the basket, close the lid, push the button. There’s no unnecessary steps or pieces. You can adjust the strength of the brew. I’m ordering a 2nd for work. ... show more

  • Calling all tea snobs
Color: Black
I had the Wal Mart special before this model, and I can say that I'm thrilled the old one broke. This is so nice, and the brew strength can be adjusted. 10/10 recommend!

  • Works perfect
Color: Black
I have seen some of the reviews that show a lot of movement where the pitcher is housed. Looks like flimsy base. What I have learned by using this product for months now. Yes, there is a lot of movement where the pitcher is placed. However, no matter where the pitcher is placed on the base, the pitcher lid is designed at an angle, so it will always drip into the pitcher. I have not had any issues. If you want a true high quality product, you are going to need to pay a helluva lot more. We use this product every other day. One thing we do after each use, is turn the machine over into the sink and slightly shake any excess water (there is usually a little bit of water left in the reservoir) to help dry out machine. We always keep the machine unplugged. We also position the percolator arm to the back, so that the lid lays on it and stays open for a few hours to dry out. Machine has been well worth it to us. We have zero complaints about this inexpensive option. I rather enjoy this machine, we don't use ice during the brewing, we double brew basically to the top of the pitcher (let it cool, while cooling I put all my teabags into the pitcher to steep for extra 30 mins) and then add cold water to fill our other gallon pitcher to the top and refrigerate, then we add ice into the glasses. Fun tidbit of information is when I double brew, I put 10 regular size green tea bags into the filter (for my gallon pitcher) and 4 or 5 country peach tea bags (from celestial seasonings) and it makes yummy peach tea!! Have fun!!! ... show more

  • Makes perfect ice tea
Color: Black
I drink a lot of ice tea... I mean, a lot as I don't drink soda, sport drinks, coffee. I make about 5 pitchers a week. I was using a Mr. Coffee tea maker for the past 15 years until the glass pitcher shattered out of the blue, so figured it was time to get a new tea maker. This tea maker is essentially the same, but there are a few things I like better about this one: 1) the pitcher is NOT glass, 2) the water reservoir is NOT enclosed, and 3) the pitcher does NOT sit on the counter. Now, granted, I did get 15 years out of the previous glass pitcher model, so it was durable; but I was always careful when adding ice not to break or chip it. My previous model had a closed water reservoir and when not running the drip sits over it, so it would inevitably drip remnants of tea into it; and I was not able to clean it. My previous model had the pitcher sitting on the counter and the pitcher would condensate water onto the counter, leaving a pool of water on the counter after an hour... and a ring if left longer and dries. This model does condensate some water, but not as much; and that water sits on the plate the pitcher sits on, not the counter. ... show more
