It needs some improvement. The string is way too short. Barely able to reach the total writing area. The slider to erase is difficult to move. It is much smaller than thought. When dropped all four colors appear. Grandson still loves it so gave it the 4 stars

My daughter loves this. We took off the legs since she likes to carry it around more with the handle on the back which has been great and works well for road trips since she is occupied with it instead of a screen. Highlight recommend this for any parents looking for ways to keep their kids engaged.
