This tablet has been a lifesaver lately!! My 2.5 year old has been really into art lately, especially drawing. But she's not quite at the age where she understands that crayons and markers are only for paper, not the floors, walls, or cabinets. So I bought this to see if she would enjoy it and my goodness she does! I get 20-30 minutes of her preoccupied while I cook dinner or put my infant daughter down for a nap. She loves to sit on the couch and draw, and thinks it's the coolest thing ever to be able to erase her drawings when she is done. We have been working on letters and numbers with her, and it's a great way to do so without wasting any paper. The tablet is lightweight, easy for my toddler to use, and extremely affordable. One of the things I was nervous about for this purchase was the fact that it has the coin batteries, and with two young girls in the home I am extra sensitive to buying anything with those batteries. The place to insert the batteries seems extremely secure and I feel like I won't have any issues about the girls having access to the batteries. It came in so quick and I love the color of the tablet. My husband who is an artist was so intrigued by what I got our child. She loves drawing like him. It's definitely easy to use and light enough to keep in my purse and not be a burden to bring. I wish the writing color was a tad bit brighter. And I wish it had a string to connect the pen so we don't lose it. But other than that, it's a fun product that is sure to entertain my child when on car rides or at a restaurant. BTW.. She loves to draw and scribble, so they had to take her crayons away because they have to be very careful with her. While looking on Amazon, I found this writing tablet at a great price. I like how you can lock it and that it's lightweight, there's a place for the pen and comes with an extra battery. But unfortunately when you write on it you can barely see it. I thought it would be bright and vibrant but you can only see it good when it's under a light or a lamp. You can't see it in the dark. Which you would think you would be able to see it best in the dark since its "LED lights". I wouldn't recommend this and also my daughter dropped it a few times and not from very high since she's only 2 yrs old and it came apart. I had to pinch it to get it to snap back together. I was so excited about this but I'm super bummed out now. As you can see in the 3rd picture it's lifted up and the 4th picture is normal and not separating from the screen. With so many options out there, it's hard to pick, but a few things caught my eye with the KOKODI brand. I liked the lock feature and the battery compartment having a screw to secure it. I also noticed from reading reviews that it seemed like a brand that had good customer service. I was right! Included in the product packaging was an "After Sales Card" which stated I am able to upgrade to lifetime warranty, free accessories replacement, and receive the PDF drawing tutorial booklet. I sent a quick email with my Amazon order number and I received a reply the same day stating that my product was registered and my warranty was activated. I have had absolutely zero issues with the product. I also like that it is lightweight enough to be safely used in the car.
