My seven-year-old granddaughter borrowed a different kind of drawing pad from a friend. It had two knobs and could draw only in straight lines in black on the white board. We looked at different options online (size, features, price) and she settled on the 15 Inch LCD Writing Tablet. When it arrived, she got right to work with it! (The batteries were included). She said her favorite things about it are the beautiful colors in predictable locations on the screen and the holder to hold up the tablet. (This piece can also be used to hold up books.) She also likes how the stylus can be attached to the unit. The one thing she is still figuring out is how to prevent her arm from making a mark on the tablet while she is drawing. (It is simply a matter of ergonomics that she is perfecting.) I emailed in and activated the CARE warranty service (for replacement parts) and was then able to download and print the free PDF Drawing Book of various patterns suitable for 3–12-year-olds. She loves the tablet and thinks it was a good purchase!
