12/24/23: THINGS I APRECIATE: I used this for the first time and first IPL device so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Doing this review so others who are interested can also see. The size of the device is the size of my iPhone XS with a thin case over it. AS A FIRST TIME USER, I read ALL the instructions. I have dark hair and fair skin. I do have photosensitivity due to my immune system and medicine I take. However, it did not sting when I was using it on my face. Some people are describing it like a rubber band being snapped on then but that’s not the case. I used it on moustache and chin hairs and when the light flashed, you could smell burned hair but the hair was still there if you didn’t get a close shave. The skin sensor works well so if it’s doesn’t have full contact with the skin, it will show red and not flash until it’s pink or white. No discoloration as the moment. The cord is long so if you’re standing, it can reach your face with cord left over (I’m 5’1). THINGS I DONT LIKE: It says that can you just look away when using IPL (for the flash) and your eyes should be good but I don’t know. I wish it came with glasses- so I bought some IPL certified glasses from “Phillips Safety” bc I only have one set of eyeballs. One other thing, for that price, I also wish it came with 2 more razors and not just 1. Another thing that I don’t like is that you can’t tell what area you did so there’s a high chance I may have missed some spots- thinking that’s why there is the gliding option but if you’re hoping for one spot, I find it a little hard. ... show more

So far working great though it’s taking underarm and bikini hair longer - leg hair really much better , I’m still doing it weekly but barely having to shave legs in between It’s hard to get in small areas like upper lip

You do have to use weekly and some areas are more stubborn than others, but it definitely works and I don’t have to pluck/shave anymore. Definitely worth it

Worked great on my upper lip, and under arms! Definitely noticed a difference after 3 weeks. You need to continue doing it though. I was doing so good for 4 months, every Sunday. And then I stopped and I slowly noticed my underarms coming back. If you continue to do it once a week every week it is well worth it. It does get hot for time to time. In a few spots on my underarms it did sting a little but not too bad. The hairs on my chin are very thick and needed a little more attention. But I love it. ❤️ ... show more

    • I love it, but my hair is stubborn.
I have PCOS which makes my body hair very stubborn. After awhile of using this, I've definitely noticed less growth with regular use. But if I don't keep using it the hair grows back. I still have to zap the hair 2-3 times to see any results which is not what the manual says. (Except for the facial hair, after once it hurts). Overall I will continue to use it because it has reduced my hair growth to make it worth it, but if you have PCOS and have very thick body hair don't expect it to remove it completely forever. ... show more

As title says I used it every friday for the last 6 months under my arms. I have fair skin and dark hair so no issues there. I would say it somewhat slowed the hair growth. But no hair reduction, I also still am shaving every other day. So... doesn't really do anything. I would pass. I am going to get something more powerful. ... show more
