I’m pretty impressed with this little guy for the price. I’ve been doing it about 6 weeks now and have about a 75% reduction in hair, which is way better than I was hoping for! It is kind of annoying and time consuming - for legs, bikini, and underarms, it takes me about half an hour - but it doesn’t hurt and is totally worth it! Shaving takes no time at all now, and I’m excited to see how much more of a reduction I get as I keep using it. Overall, I was dubious and heavily debated getting the nicer Braun ipl (that’s a lot more expensive), but this is totally working how I wanted it to! I recommend it as long as you’ve got a spare 30-40 min once a week for a few months!

This was AMAZING when I first got it. I quickly saw a slowing of hair growth and it is relatively pain free. After about six months it started flashing much slower, though. It seems like it is trying to avoid overheating. It starts at a normal speed and gets slower and slower. It now takes four to five times as long to use. After using this I can confirm IPLs are effective, but this one could have better longevity.

12/24/23: THINGS I APRECIATE: I used this for the first time and first IPL device so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Doing this review so others who are interested can also see. The size of the device is the size of my iPhone XS with a thin case over it. AS A FIRST TIME USER, I read ALL the instructions. I have dark hair and fair skin. I do have photosensitivity due to my immune system and medicine I take. However, it did not sting when I was using it on my face. Some people are describing it like a rubber band being snapped on then but that’s not the case. I used it on moustache and chin hairs and when the light flashed, you could smell burned hair but the hair was still there if you didn’t get a close shave. The skin sensor works well so if it’s doesn’t have full contact with the skin, it will show red and not flash until it’s pink or white. No discoloration as the moment. The cord is long so if you’re standing, it can reach your face with cord left over (I’m 5’1). THINGS I DONT LIKE: It says that can you just look away when using IPL (for the flash) and your eyes should be good but I don’t know. I wish it came with glasses- so I bought some IPL certified glasses from “Phillips Safety” bc I only have one set of eyeballs. One other thing, for that price, I also wish it came with 2 more razors and not just 1. Another thing that I don’t like is that you can’t tell what area you did so there’s a high chance I may have missed some spots- thinking that’s why there is the gliding option but if you’re hoping for one spot, I find it a little hard.

I was very hopeful because it’s a Braun, they generally have a good reputation. I’ve been using it for several months now and just have noticed no positive effects.

I’ve only had the chance to use this Braun laser hair remover once since buying it (busy schedule!), but I’ve already noticed a difference. Hair growth has definitely slowed, and the regrowth is much thinner compared to shaving. I’m optimistic about seeing even better results after completing the 12-week regimen and will update my review then! It’s surprisingly painless to use—just make sure to clean shave the areas beforehand for the best results. It’s very safe; I haven’t experienced any burns or issues so far. Also, don’t skip wearing a pair of protective glasses—the laser light can be quite intense for your eyes. So far, I’m very happy with this product and excited to see the long-term results! Highly recommended for anyone looking for an effective at-home hair removal solution.
