I've been cutting my own hair for a while now using two different clippers/ trimmers. This Braun 7 7390 has the range of settings I need all on one attachment making the job simpler. It charged quckly and cut efficiently on each of the three settings I use. It fit well in my hand and is easy to maneuver around my head using either my left or right hand. Only time will tell about durability, but the Braun that I've had since the pandemic in 2020 still cuts well, holds a charge for weeks and is easy to clean/ maintain. The one downside is this unit has stainless steel blades requiring lubrication. My older unit has ceramic blades and doesn't need lubrication. Oil tends to trap more hair in the blades and head of the trimmer requiring more diligent cleaning. I'm not crazy about the stand, but the charging cord also fits directly into the base of the trimmer so I can charge it laying flat instead of upright on the countertop. well worth the money and pays for itself in only a couple of haircuts. Since I use it every two weeks, if it last 2 years I'm ahead $1,500 assuming I don't replace the blades/ trim head. ... show more

Great clippers. I use them to save down ny head closely so I can use a straight razor to shave. This works perfectly for me. After charging the battery lasts for a very long time.

I have never written a really enthusiastic product review before—I’ve written few reviews of any kind. This will be an exception. Very happy with this product which is a big improvement over my old Wahl. It is light, cordless, effective—does not seize up, the comb stays on, the length adjustment works well. No need for 19 different combs in different size. For me, a bald-on-top DIY hair cutter, it is perfect. I can cut back and sides at 1/4 or 1/2 inch then cut at 3mm towards top where hair gives way to skin—for a less severe cut than a simple buzz cut or shaved head. ... show more

Great product but it arrived in sad condition. The Braun Hair Clippers was shipped in the manufacturer's box. There was a delay but finally arrived at my home. When I opened the bag I found the box falling apart and the contents banged up. I infer that to cover the mistreatment if the original box, Amazon personnel decided to hide the damage by placing the product in a bag. To save in packing material Amazon destroys products. I used this product to give my 2 boys' haircuts. I'm certainly not as good or professional as a barber, but it gets costly to take 2 kids for haircuts, especially since all they want is for their hair to be shorter, no fancy cuts. I love that this cordless and can be quickly recharged. My biggest complaint with my previous set of hair clippers is that I needed to be close enough to an outlet to use and then the cord tends to get in the way. These are definitely easier to handle and no cord getting in the way all the time. The blades do a great job cutting and I'm able to get through my boys' thick hair fairly easily. I also like how easily you can choose the length settings without having a dozen or so different "combs" to use or having to remember what you used the previous time. Braun products are typically great; well-made and long lasting. This product is definitely worth purchasing and I would recommend to anyone. ... show more

They definitely did the job that needed to be done. I just give myself a nice buzz cut and they work perfectly. It offers precision, long lasting battery life, and a comfortable ergonomic kind of design. Sleek. They are also easy to use and provide a smooth clean cut every time.
