I’ve been using the same beard trimmer for years. The battery died but it still worked while plugged into the wall. Since I couldn’t afford to replace it. I kept using it. Fast forward years later and the cord is starting to break off exposing the internal wires. The cord became brittle with age. That’s how old it was. I am now in a better position financially so I could afford to replace it. Being happy with my old trimmer. I have to compare the two. This Braun definitely has more power. My old trimmer adjusted to more lengths but the comb would collect the trimmings and you had to take the comb off. Shake the trimmings out to continue. This BT3321 modes is designed so the comb doesn’t collect the trimmings and clogs. It has openings at the bottom. A huge connivance. It feels better to hold. The lack of addition lengths doesn’t bother me since the length has plenty of settings beyond what I choose to trim. I don’t keep a super long beard in the summer but longer in the winter. My beard curls like crazy if it gets long. I don’t want to send hours necessary to straighten it. The longest setting on this trimmer is fine for my winter growth. When I keep it an inch or so in length. It definitely gets lower than what I trim it to in the summer months. The only negative I would give is, it will not work while charging. You might see someone posting a video showing it plugged in and not working. This model isn’t designed to work while charging. My other did. Which means. Once the battery dies. I’ll have to replace it. I’m hoping to get several years use out of it. It has a 2 year warranty. If it lasts 2 years. It would have cost me under a buck a month. I would consider getting my moneys worth. ... show more

Not as good as my Philishave but def worth the money. Tades aren't vp and require a bit of a learning curve but it's legit. A bit of a learning curve. It's not water proof so don't use in the shower. The angles are a bit weird and the blade isn't sharp it sometimes pulls on your hair vs cutting so on occasion you have that "oooof" moment. But once you get the angles straight. Yeah... for the money 4 outta 5 for sure after about 5 weeks of use. ... show more

This is a versatile trimmer that does a great job. The only reason for 4-stars is you can get nicked pretty good when you take the guard off. I use it now in lieu of shaving my head and face (I hate shaving).

Finally, a cheap beard trimmer that doesn’t nick your your hair. The adjustable guard is super convenient as well. The only thing I really want that’s missing from here is a precision trimmer. Id be willing to pay more for it if it was available.

This replaced another Braun trimmer that lasted many years. This improved design has an easy on-off multi adjustable comb that holds securely. So far, the battery life seems very good for my few minutes of daily clean up. My only complaint is that it only has one small piece of rubber by the on-off switch. It would be a better more secure grip with an additional piece of rubber on the main back surface. But overall, it is a very good trimmer at this price point. Many years used only Norelco (Philips) trimmers. Decided to give a try to Braun. Quite happy so far. Long battery life, very compact design, little universal charger - great for traveling. What else do you need?

I have used this Braun Beard Trimmer for a couple weeks and so-far have been quite satisfied with its shape and function. Adjusting cut length only requires turning the dial on top. Cleaning is very easy including access to the vibrating head mechanism. No small screwdriver is needed. Can't comment on battery life yet but I have only charged it once for about 4 uses. The slide On/Off switch is difficult to push forward to "On" but I added the "hook" side of a round "hook and loop" adhesive backed fastener to the switch (see photo). The rough, round "hook" piece gives enough resistance when pushing with the thumb so there is minimal slipping when sliding the switch forward to the "On" position. I also added a "hook" piece to the rear of the unit which pushes off the housing for cleaning . The housing however slides off easy enough so the "hook" piece there may not be necessary. ... show more

I like that this beard trimmer has settings all the way to 20mm, which is longer than most other trimmers, especially in this price range. It's easy to use, and only has 2 (adjustable) guards, making it easy to travel with. Unfortunately, it doesn't work well as a head trimmer, but for beards it works great. ... show more
