My shaver feels like it’s brand new
I’ve love track of how long I have owned my Braun Series 5. It has to be at least 5 years. I didn’t realize how poorly it has been shaving until the foil broke due to rough handling on my part. Well, after installing the replacement, which fits perfectly, the shaver feels like it’s brand new. I know the foil and cutter are supposed to be replaced regularly. BE CAREFUL, THERE ARE 2 VERY DIFFERENT "SERIES 5"
My cartridge says series 5, but is 40% larger then this one. My blades are attached at the factor, this is the old style blade that is separate from the foil.

Works well
I've been using Braun series 5 for years. The new cutters and screens work well. The only issue is that for me they usually last about 16-17 months rather than 18, probably because I push too hard with them or wear them out faster.
