I’ve love track of how long I have owned my Braun Series 5. It has to be at least 5 years. I didn’t realize how poorly it has been shaving until the foil broke due to rough handling on my part.     • BE CAREFUL, THERE ARE 2 VERY DIFFERENT "SERIES 5"
My cartridge says series 5, but is 40% larger then this one. My blades are attached at the factor, this is the old style blade that is separate from the foil.

I've been using Braun series 5 for years. The new cutters and screens work well. The only issue is that for me they usually last about 16-17 months rather than 18, probably because I push too hard with them or wear them out faster. I put the new block in recently and it is cutting very well and leaving my face feeling great. ... show more
