The box spring was easy to put together, but it doesn’t feel as sturdy or strong as I was hoping for. The rods don’t have screws or anything to secure them, so I ended up gluing them down and letting it dry for a few days before I officially use it with my California king mattress. The size itself fits perfectly as well. It looks nice and the low profile is what I wanted, but I’m holding out to see how it holds up long term.

I have a huge family and we are always in need of sleeping areas during holidays. I figured this would be really nice to have because I can take apart and store easily when I don't have a large amount of guests at the house. At least much more easily than an actual box spring. Unfortunately, I could not for the life of me figure out how to get these back in the box after taking it apart for storage. It still takes up less space than an actual box spring, so just a slight hiccup. The instructions weren't that good but installation was pretty self explanatory. Only part I had to redo were the bottom side brackets. Had them on wrong sides, and instruction didn't specify the need to. Did it by fully myself, but a second person would help in a couple areas, but due to not the best welding and not the actual installation procedure. The material itself is very sturdy. Only issue I really had was that the welding at the parts where brackets attach together were not always aligned well. One corner was really bad and had to be carefully forced to get screw to bite into threads. But once it connected, it went in pretty easily, it was just a matter of getting it to line up. And once tightened, it did pulled the misaligned portion in. At first, because of the misalignment, I could tell all corners weren't at 90 degrees. After moving it around or it just settling into itself, the corners started to get squared. The cloth covering had a wierd smell that quickly went away. Will still wash it though. But no wash tag is included and nothing in instructions either. So will just wing it and hope for the best. Overall it is very sturdy and pretty light once put together. If you're not planning on taking it apart for storage as I am, there are much cheaper options. Although not a big issue, I wish build quality was a little better for the price.

I've had the same old box springs for my King bed for, well, a long, long time. When I saw this, I knew it was time to make the change. Priced far lower than traditional frames/foundations/box springs, I feel it is a pretty good deal. It was quick to put together with just myself and Sir Alan Wrench. The parts are all clearly marked and the instructions easy to follow. The size is pretty much dead-on and - for the most part - the quality is good. The only exception is that quality control is bit loose with screw holes lining up proper and one of the tabs was SEVERELY bent and required some pretty aggressive hammering before I could get a screw to line up - however, none of it kept me from getting it built and it is now as sturdy as can be... and I'm a big ol' dude. No squeaks, no squeals, it just admirably holds up my mattress and looks like it will last me for another long, long time! Definite recommendation!
