This cabinet is, in itself, a good piece of furniture. It has enough space for plenty of miniatures, seems sturdy enough to last in the environment I'll have it in (which rarely features young children), and I managed to get it for a decent price. But boy howdy was it an absolute pain to put together. As other reviews say, the instructions are too small (and I'm a young guy without vision problems) and poorly labeled. The four glass panes come in three different sizes, each of which has a specific place it's supposed to go. However, you'd never know that from the instructions, as there are no written notes explaining this. This is exacerbated by the fact that the back pane, the FIRST one to be installed, is at the BOTTOM of the box, beneath the rest of the pieces. Furthermore, the manufacturer clearly had the wherewithal to attach translucent stickers to the glass panes, proving they might have easily labeled the panes; instead, only after having assembled three of the four sides did I realize that there was a meaningful difference in size, forcing me to disassemble and reassemble it. In short, this is a decent end product plagued by an awful assembly process. Some simple fixes involving logical packaging, labeling, and written instructions would have made this an easy four-star product, maybe even five. ... show more

I ordered a few of these to display painted models. Two of them arrived with the back pieces completely shattered. Between the two boxes, I was able to assemble one complete unit using the door pieces on both the back and front, but still disappointed I have to do with one less unit than anticipated. ... show more
