With a frequency response range of 64Hz - 23kHz, 85dB sensitivity, and 8-ohm impedance, these mini theater series satellite speakers can transport you to a new world of audio excellence, especially in a surround sound setup. The unified clamshell enclosure of the speakers is formed from two seamlessly interlocking continuously curved sections that control airflow and reduce noise. These satellite speakers are versatile enough to be used in a 2-channel stereo speaker setup, or in a 5-channel surround sound system as the front, side, and rear surround speakers. I was using these speakers as a rear surround 5.4.1 surround system driven by a Marantz Cinema 50. I was impressed with their good looks and great reviews. I needed a wall mount speaker I could angle a bit and I thought these would be a good fit. The first problem I had was the wall mount. The connection from the wall mount to the speaker is fragile and I found it difficult to assemble. You have to tighten down two screws on a clamp while you're holding the speaker upright. The next problem was the thin sound. I don't need a lot of bass or even midrange in my system from these speakers, but the overall sound was weak even after running the room correction software. The last problem was that one of the speakers died. I suspect one of the wires in the arm got pinched but I couldn't find anything to repair so they're sitting in a box right now. ... show more

Great little speaker more sound quality than I expected. A bit more expensive then others in the same class but worth it; while on the $ subject they went up $50 in 20 days since I got mine. My main system has jumbo B&W speakers in front and smaller ones for surrounds all running fine for some 25 years, influenced my choice here. ... show more

In my home office paired with ASW 608, they sound really nice in office sized room. I would imagine that if paired with PV1 they would probably be fine in larger room as well.

Incredible. I’m an audiophile and I was worried that these wouldn’t live up to the hype. Short story, they did. Buy them and don’t worry. Although the connection method is genius, it’s also pretty annoying. The sound quality is ridiculous, though.
