I work as a certified nursing assistant and just started a job at a new hospital. On my first day, I saw I wasn't the ONLY person that had one of these handy traveling cases! Whatever role you play in the world of caregiving - be it as an aide, nurse, tech, student or doctor - I HIGHLY recommend this cute, functional, fabulous travel carrying case that comes in MANY colors to ANYONE in that works in the healthcare field or is studying to join us in this fast-paced, challenging, always growing career. You never know when you're going to have a day where EVERY machine used to take vital signs is malfunctioning, being used by someone else, or doesn't have enough charge to work. You never know if you're going to work somewhere that doesn't have a machine to take the vital signs automatically, or when the doctor orders a set of vitals be taken manually. Whatever the case, you want to be PREPARED... and you will be with this travel case dedicated and designed for healthcare providers everywhere! Anyone that's ever had to use those awful, plastic, cheap stethoscopes on isolation patients or in school - the one's which dig into your ears so painfully and make auscultating whatever you're trying to hear an near impossible feat and even worse one to achieve successfully when a neurotic instructor is standing over you, meticulously judging whatever you're doing. Very pleased. As a traveling screener, I depend on a quality stethoscope for Korotkoff sounds. The sounds are crisp and clear. Heart sounds are like reading a book. At a recent screening out of state a young (very young 30's) man was experiencing dangerous systolic & diastolic numbers together with his racing pulse. Recommended to HR Urgent Care where he was taken expeditiously. As a health screener, Certified, I recommend this stethoscope - the case is attractive & a bonus for keeping the stethoscope tangle free & unblemished.
