We purchased this training collar for our 1 year old labrador retriever and it has worked perfectly for its intended use. Our dog was not responding to positive reinforcement training especially when out in public and our dog trainer suggested using a training collar to trigger when she performs an undesirable behavior such as jumping up onto strangers and barking. We practiced with our labrador using this product by using the shock function that was set just high enough so that it she she could feel the collar, but low enough that it would not cause any pain. As a result, our dog has responded very positively to the training. Pros: - 3 functions available on the collar; shock, vibrate, & beep. - Adjustable power levels - Waterproof Cons: - It is a bit bulky - There was a setting to connect 2 collars to the remote, but only 1 collar was provided, would've been better if a 2nd collar was included. Overall, I was very pleased by the product and would recommend this to any other dog owners that are having difficulty with training.

Great Product and high quality for a reasonable price. I take my dog hiking and we travel from CA to Washington. I love this for of leash travels. From going to the store or on a hike, this is my go too. I have my dog trained to recall at the sound of the beep. It’s important to know how to use this product correctly when training your dog. I rarely ever use the shock but it is great to have in serious times. Especially when he was younger. I tested the shock on my kids (willing participants). It’s not pleasant at max shock but didn’t bring them to tears 🤣. It is waterproof, which is awesome for all day fun at the river. I do allow my dog go way ahead of me and explore in unpopulated areas and the remote range is amazing!

I have a 1-year-old German Shepherd that doesn't like to listen. My mother has 5 acres and the week before I purchased this collar we were at her house and my pup decided it was time to start roaming. At that time I decided I was going to purchase a collar. The following week we were back at my moms house and when he got about an acre away I would just give him the tone signal and he would turn around and come back. I have only used the shock correction once or twice we he would ignore the initial beeps or vibration. I will say since he has long fur the extension piece for the collar ensures that good contact is made. He now is totally obedient to the initial beeping and we don't have to progress to higher corrections. As for battery life it has been great, I may charge it once or twice a week. We don't wear the collar all the time. Only when there will be a situation where I will need to have his full attention.

Out of 3 past electric collars, this one has more pros than cons and works the best. PROS - Loud beep, strong vibration, long distance function, easy to set levels, waterproof, lengthy charge, lifetime warranty. CONS- the 3 setting buttons in a row should move left to right incrementally based on strength. Beep, vibrate and shock. Instead, the beep is first, the shock is in the middle, and the vibrate is at the end. This is confusing. The rubber collar length has to be completely inserted and HOOKED into the metal latch otherwise it can come off.

Just my experience, I would make this a cloth based collar instead of plastic. This made my dog’s neck bruise and overheat and he lost all the hairs there and also was wet inflamed and red and it oozed of infection a bit so had to clean it off with antiseptic. It’s taking a while for that area to get better, it’s just started to scab. But even the shock gave him a bit of a cut or small wound. So I wouldn’t recommend shocking your dog. The product itself works well and does everything it promises, so I’m giving this a 3 stars. I might be good for dogs with log hairs where the long metals keep the collar a distance from their skin.

The collar is waterproof and durable. The instructions and set-up are clear. It comes with a lifetime warranty and replacements for anything that goes wrong. It came with charge, so I've set it up and tested it but haven't used it yet. Set-up is easy. It comes with a charger than can charge both the collar and the remote at the same time. We intend to use the collar for recall, since we have several acres and the dog can go through livestock fencing. The high range reach and mid-range price, plus warranty, ended up being the best for our needs.

Easy to use and practical. We’ve tried other collars with less than favorable experiences. Only complaint is that the collar is too small on the largest adjustment. We have a VERY HEAD-STRONG Boerboel. His neck size at 1.5 yrs is 26”….and we’re on the last adjustment……but superior value for the $ and reliable. Each training mode is superior in sound/vibration and adjustable shock functionality!

The electric collar initially worked quite well. However, the advertised 2000m range is far from reality. If my dog gets lost in the bushes in the forest and runs more than 200m away, the signal is lost. In an open field, the range was about 400-500m, which was acceptable. The controls are simple and intuitive, and the battery lasted a long time. Unfortunately, in winter, the shock function occasionally failed. The additional metal plate bends and breaks over time, which can become dangerous for the dog. Last week, the collar stopped working completely – it no longer responds to the transmitter, even though it is turned on. Overall, it lasted about a year with some issues, but now it’s completely unusable. The warranty process is nowhere to be found.
