    • Great...but there is some flex from being made of plastic
Size: Blue Spanners
works for what its made to do..the plastic is pretty good..but there is flex in it...becuz its plastic. but for what its meant for it works well...I did have to squeeze a little to separate the connection...which is why its 4 stars instead of 5.

    • Didn't work for me, wasn't sure from the description
Size: Blue Spanners
This did not work for my solar connectors, the description was not the clearest if this was the right tool for my connections, but they were nice enough to refund me the money. A lot of these connectors are not clearly labelled for the size or diameter so it was not easy to know if would work as the right disconnect tool. If there is a way to find out the diameter or sizing, check that first to make sure they are compatible. ... show more

    • Defective - wrong size

Incorrect size. Defective. Both sets of prongs are a few mm too wide to fit MC4 connectors. See photos, comparing to a correctly sized MC4 wrench (which has the more narrow prongs). Returned item.

    • Sometimes it is all about having the right tool!
Size: Blue Spanners
I finally got my solar installed and when I had to move one of the connections this was the tool I needed. It is made of thick durable plastic that fits perfectly in the connections for safe easy disconnect. Works as expected and was much easier than I thought it be to use them. Well made!

This tool works great to disconnect solar cables that don't have the squeeze to release connections.
