These are more robust that I thought they would be. I put a piece of cord between them like I did with my collet wrenches, so I can't lose one. Push the cord through, melt it a bit and flatten. They work well with their intended solar cable connectors. I was concerned that they may be too flexible to unlock connectors, but they work well. ... show more

This did not work for my solar connectors, the description was not the clearest if this was the right tool for my connections, but they were nice enough to refund me the money. A lot of these connectors are not clearly labelled for the size or diameter so it was not easy to know if would work as the right disconnect tool. If there is a way to find out the diameter or sizing, check that first to make sure they are compatible. ... show more

I finally got my solar installed and when I had to move one of the connections this was the tool I needed. It is made of thick durable plastic that fits perfectly in the connections for safe easy disconnect. Works as expected and was much easier than I thought it be to use them. Well made!
