Won’t work for my MC 4! Would not recommend this company - I don’t believe the company is at fault, I didn’t realize there are two styles of MC4 connectors and the Company contacted me to resolve this matter!

No one tells you, you need a tool to disconnect MC4 connectors. This is a little flimsy but it works.

Ok for the price, occasional use. Which will be fine for me. For light use they will be fine. They are not very rugged, so for everyday use I do not think they will hold up.

This tool has save me from saying some very rude things to my solar power station ... MC-4 connectors are a major pain to uncouple. Cheap enough that I can replace when these 2 stop working. I only use this tool to disconnect the MC-4 connector parts from each other so that is all I can speak to.
