  • Fantastic Work Light, Natural light color, pricey but worth it...AutoFixPal.com
The media could not be loaded. Milwaukee 2351-20 LED stick light: This is a Fantastic work light. My second favorite light in the group. The light output is 220 lumens and it uses 3 high output LED’s that produce a natural color light similar to that of a halogen bulb. Most LED lights produce a white light. In fact all the lights in this comparison produce a white light except for the Milwaukee 2351-20 LED stick light. This light is great for doing electrical diagnostics using a wiring diagram because the light it produces will not fool you into thinking a yellow wire is white or tan or something like that. Yes this happens often when using a LED light that produces a white light, But that’s not the main reason the Milwaukee 2351-20 LED stick light is one of my favorites. The reason I hold the Milwaukee LED stick light is such high regard is because it’s durable, Very durable, the battery lasts over 4 hours on a single charge, you can easily swap out the m12 batteries that will charge in about 30 minutes, so if you have 2 m12 batteries you will never be without light. Every time I turn this light on (before i lost it) it works. The on/off button is in a easy to find location that just feels natural, no messing around with brightness levels or multi-pressing the button. The Milwaukee LED stick light (m12)also features a standard 1/4″ adapter that allows you to mount it to a tripod or any other camera mounting device such as magnetic mounts, etc. This light was on sale for $48.94 a few days ago on Amazon (the time I created the video) but at the time of this article i believe it is now priced at $72 dollars w/out batteries which is a little on the pricey side, this kind of makes it a not so great value, and yes when i purchased the Milwaukee LED stick light over a year ago i paid about the same price if not a little more. Do i regret spending 80 bucks on the light alone? No i don’t. But i do regret losing the light. Things i don’t like about the Milwaukee LED stick light (m12). You can get the Milwaukee M18 LED stick light for $57 and change right now. Go figure. It’s expensive, the most expensive light in the group even without batteries. The hook is a major pain in the ass to use, it does not have a built in magnet base and it is kind of rounded so if you try to rest it on the side and aim the light it may end up rolling out of position if the surface is on a slant. ... show more

  • Awesome little light
For the last 6 months I have been swiping this light from my bosses tool bag every chance I could get. I finally decided that I like the light enough to purchase my own. The small profile of this light make storage easy. Easy to hold onto while crawling around in attics and crawl spaces. Bright and natural light output. Tough exterior has kept the light functioning perfectly after being tossed around and dropped on a daily basis. Only a couple downsides I can think of on this light.. 1. Magnet should come standard. 2. Hook hanger should offer more locked positions. 3. When using larger batteries the weight can sometimes prevent the hook hanger from staying in the locked position. ... show more

  • A Bit Pricey, But Worth It In The Long Haul.
If you are already dug into the M12 product line with some extra batteries and chargers this is a great addition. No tool bag should be without one of these. Its hook or hang feature is well thought out and it stands up solid on the battery too. It offers good well-spread light and about 3 hours on a full charge. One negative is they should have offered up the magnet in the package instead of it being a hard to find and pricey accessory. But any decent local hardware store has a generic you could adapt to it for about 10 bucks. in six months you wont miss the 60 bucks but you will wonder how you ever got by without a light so handy and useful. ... show more

  • I decided to breakdown and buy this Milwaukee M12 LED stick and I'm glad that I did
I was looking for a decent work light for home projects but didn't want to spend a lot of money. After looking on the internet and not finding many lights that would meet my needs (has a hanger, bright, long lasting, rechargeable, freestanding), I decided to breakdown and buy this Milwaukee M12 LED stick and I'm glad that I did. I wasn't excited about paying $70+ for this light but when I saw it on Amazon for $54, I didn't hesitate to pick it up. It's just as advertised - heavy duty, long lasting (has nice LED lights indicating how much battery life is available,) very bright, nice wide pattern, and rechargeable. Although, $54 was still more than I wanted to pay for a portable work light, I think it was well worth it as it will last a very long time. ... show more

  • Powerful and flexible light
I have had the Milwaukee Work Light for a while now and needed something with a bit more flexibility. I was tempted to get the Festool but couldn't justify the extra cost in this case. As I already had a M12 based drill and the Work Light, this became the obvious choice. First, wow, the the light this puts out compared to the 49-24-0146 is amazing both in warmed and intensity. So much so that I'll probably end up either selling the old light or keeping it with emergency supplies just in case. The hole to mount the magnet accessory is on the back, 2.75" from the bottom when battery installed and is a 1/4-20 threaded hole. As that's what most tripods use, that opens up some interesting options like attaching it to a gorillapod which works well when you want to point it at an angle. The only thing I can call a negative is if you try to use an XC battery while hanging from the hook pointing down, the weight of the battery changes the center of gravity enough that it will pull the light back into the vertical position. So don't rely on those batteries if you need to use it that way. That quibble aside, this light has met or exceeded all my expectations so much that I'm having to resist the temptation to get another. ... show more

  • Its a Milwaukee, quality is good.
Purchased the light because I have Milwaukee batteries. Build quality of tool is good, and lives up to the Milwaukee name. Milwaukee is very proud of this light, the price is outrageous, especially with all the other LED lights on the market. Milwaukee knows a good number of people will buy this light especially if they have a bouquet of Milwaukee tools in there shop. Lumens output is fair to OK. Does have a handy sliding hook on the back of the unit. ... show more
