It adds complexity and rigor to any workout so that you can compound the benefits. This is a powerful and transformative tool that will enhance many, many movements. So I went with the Pro Version, "Used - Like New" and saved me a little cash....got the price down to close to what the home version would have cost. Came in perfect condition. I "had" to get the red and black because those are my home gym colors. Hahah...home gym nerrrrrrd alert...:-P I've used BOSU balls before...but this Pro version feels heavy and the ball portion feels thick AF. I considered the new NexGen style...but the reviews were a little hit and miss...probably because it's a newer version and maybe all the kinks haven't been worked out. This Pro version has been around for a long time....plus the new NexGen didn't come in red or black...hahaha. I used it this morning for wide grip pushups ball side down and close grip pushups ball side up.....and it kicked my butt. I can do(ish) regular pushups...but I like the extra instability to work all the little shoulder and so forth stablelizer muscles. I thought it would be heavy and nice....but it's even heavier and nicer tbh....and a great and super sexxxy addition to my home gym. Can't wait to keep using it to get to know suffering....:-)

My therapist recommended that I get my ball to sit on daily to gently and gradually strengthen my core and back muscles. In my research for a new ball, I stumbled across the Bosu. It turns out that this is a great item to add to my exercise tools. I have been struggling with not injuring myself when I try to exercise. I always injure myself doing the simplest of stretches or exercise moves. Then I have to stop my exercise plan to recover. I really want to build strength and flexibility as I am getting older. I have had a few health issues and I am limited on what I am able to do. I am so glad I found the Bosu. I am using the Bosu to strengthen my core and increase my stability and balance by standing on it and keeping myself from falling off the ball. It is challenging but not too hard and I do not feel that I have hurt myself or “over done” myself afterwards. I can feel it in my legs and my stomach as I maintain my position on the ball. Now, I don’t think I will ever be able to use the Bosu for the hard core exercise I see people do in the videos because of my physical limitations, but I see great potential in building muscle and strength.
