Do you suffer from boredom or low self esteem. Well my friend, purchase this combo kit and we can cure the boredom. On a single fill, I was able to install 20 sqft of reclaimed barn shiplap for a decorative wall, fix 6 loose fence boards, and fill up a truck tire. Both nail guns are decent quality and easy to use, the pressure gauge is responsive and the handle is perfect for transporting the compressor from job site to job site, or for bicep curls...because there is always time for bicep curls. ... show more

Bostitch never disappoints, the small pancake compressor is very loud though. But this seems to be the typical amount for compressors of this size

Excellent combo value. Reliable brand. Stay safe. If you're new to these, read the directions. Buy and use the lubricant (for the tools, not the compressor.) (I think the lubricant should come with kit.) Follow the directions to drain the compressor after each day's use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I decided to invest in a Bostitch compressor a few years back, and I must say, it lives up to its advertising claims. The performance has been consistently good, and it has certainly served me well over the years. However, one thing to note is that it has remained just as noisy as the day I bought it.     • Great tools at a good price
Purchased this compressor and nailer combo kit because I really needed the compressor (to go with a flooring nailer that I also purchased). The compressor was quick to setup and start using. Very easy to use. Works well with the flooring nailer and with the two nail guns that came with the kit. I am replacing hardwood flooring and the 16 gauge nailer works great for face nailing or diagonal nailing through the tongue of the hardwood flooring. I have been using both nailers for installing the baseboard trim after the hardwood flooring. I had never used a pneumatic nailer prior to purchasing this combo kit. I would want to use them for any requiring a fair amount of nailing. So much easier to use the nailer than pre-drilling, installing finish nails and then countersinking them. Once in a while I had to go back over a few of the nails and sink the head with a nail set, but very few of the course of use. Would highly recommend this set as a homeowner. Don’t know if I have used it enough to say that it would be good for a contractor, but have no reason to expect it would not work just as well with frequent use. ... show more

First time using my brand new 18 gauge brad nailer with1 3/4” nails for bead board and molding. Set the compressor to 85psi and the nails went in with no problems, dead on flush with the board for easy touch up. The compressor sat just outside my bathroom and was not that loud at all. I can’t get over how easy and precise the nail gun works, smooth and gentle. Just point the gun on the wood where you want the nail and that is where it ends up. I have struggled with baseboard and finishing details in the past, used hammer and nails, but now this is so much faster and easy also!!
