We purchased 2 at first but were so pleased we purchased two more. Now have 4 of them. Some ratings complained about a hard seat area. We have no idea what they were complaining about. All very comfortable. The chairs are all great, relatively easy to put together and seem first class.

I've owned this chair now for about 3 years. 1st off i live the rich burgundy color. It has held up well and it is pretty much the only chair I sit it. Legs are sturdy and it was easy to put together. There is a nice amount of cushing in the back and seat. Some of the negetives are that personally I feel the arms are a little short. The seat as mentioned from another buyer is correct. The seat slightly tilts forward. Just enough to make you always stand up to re adjust your seating position. The back like I mentioned has much padding but extremely firm, but so firm that your shoulders will not hit the back of the chair. The wings could be a little larger. I feel like I'm always sitting forward with my arms sitting on my thighs. This is a beautiful chair for looking and not much sitting. If asked if I would purchase again I would say no. This is a honest personal review and I hope if you have questions it can help. ... show more

I’m not sure where all the criticism I read about in other reviews stems from. This chair arrived in great condition. The packing was good and secure. I assembled it in less than 5 minutes. Most importantly, it is just as comfortable as it is elegant. The seat is roomy with good bottom and lumbar support , but not too stiff. Bought as a bedside chair for mom, but I may get two more for my office. I have nothing but good things to say about the chair. ... show more

I needed to replace a burgundy wingback chair in my guest bedroom that had gotten quite old and used looking. The new chair had to be relatively small due to the lack of space in the bedroom. The Boss wingback chair turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! It's MUCH better looking than my original chair and the design is outstanding. It arrived on time and in excellent condition with only the legs needing to be screwed on. Simple set-up. My only negative comment is that the seat area is somewhat smaller than the old chair and is raised and rounded somewhat making it less comfortable to sit on. Also this chair is not for someone who is overly well-proportioned. Having said that,it is absolutely perfect for my guest bedroom which doesn't require a more comfortable chair for reading and serves more as a place for me to throw clothes on while cleaning out the closet or hanging up clothes. This chair gives my back the support it needs, unlike a recliner. And the seat is a comfortable firm. It is a nice deep burgundy color that goes well with the dark brown and tan colors in the room. Nice looking chairs for the price but we orded 2 for our office and most of the legs were damaged. One was even split. We were able to put together one chair with the best 4 of the 8 legs and returned the other chair. Amazon was great with sending it back really hassle free. The replacement chair also had nics on the legs but luckly I had a burgandy colered crayon to fix. ... show more
