Thanks Boss and Sweetwater, Amazon too. My DD6 malfunctions after 20+ years... act of God?! Most likely! I am stuck in my ways. What works works. This is an upgrade, a big level up. Especially with the Roland Ex pedal! Wow! & yeah I tried other brands but Boss has this nailed. BTW, I don't like batteries much but wall warts have drawbacks wires and noise, batteries are quiet. And this pedal is quiet it sounds and plays amazing, like a dream. Battery was included as well as a small bag of candy. It's like they knew I have low blood sugar sometimes. Excellent pedal! This is just what I've been wanting to get for quite a while! I have a Epiphone Les Paul 100 and a Takamine Acoustic with a hole pickup and a Cube15 Amp.     • Keep getting broken pedals
The first pedal arrived in a packaging with a scotch tape and without instructions etc. Looked damaged and didn't work. I returned and got a new one, this one also doesn't connect properly. Will keep testing, but this is really unfortunate.

I own or have tried most of the top-end boutique Delays, and for the money, footprint, versatility, and features, you really can't go wrong with the DD-8. Ofcourse its not as extensively tweakable and isn't as deepdive as the Strymon or Walrus delays are, BUT for the price,durability AND legacy of the DD series delays, it's worth owning. ... show more
