installed these speakers in my car, and man, what a difference. The sound quality is solid for the priceI’ve been blasting everything and they handle it well without distorting too much, even at higher volumes. The red design with the cone looks pretty badass too, definitely adds some flair to my interior. Install was a breeze if you’ve got basic tools and know your way around a car stereo. Only downside is They’re not invincible, pushing them past 75% volume for too long made me worry about durability, but I haven’t had issues yet. For $45 I’d say they’re a steal. If you’re on a budget and want an upgrade from stock speakers, go for it. Pair them with a decent amp (and HUGE subwoofers) if you want that extra punch. Would buy again! ... show more

    • speakers are average
these speakers deliver an ok response but seam to lack the bass response I was looking for. I think these would be alright if they were used with a sub woofer. But at the moment , I do not have one. These are alright for the price.

The size is off by like 1” doesn’t line up exactly to my factory 6” x 9” factory holes these speakers are about 1” smaller. Connectivity was easy comes with everything you need. For the price I paid they ok but I had to leave my factory plastic that holds the speakers in place because these don’t come with one and that’s maybe the reason why the speakers holes don’t line up with the factory holes on my car. They are firm though for stability doesn’t feel cheap or light. But again maybe it’s my indash because it’s a dual that doesn’t give me a lot of options to adjust the bass and voice on the speakers that I don’t find them to push 500watts each so when I upgrade my indash I will update ya Update: So I upgraded my indash from a dual to a pioneer AppRadio and let me tell you when you are inside the car these thing scream, they are loud asf but you have to turn off all the bass on them because with too much bass they sound like trash, they not going to scream like ev’s will that people can hear your music from blocks away, but for the price and with the right indash radio these things will scream while you are inside the car, which is not bad because if you like me and love loud music but afraid to turn it up all the way because of the law, you don’t need to worry with these speakers because while you are inside the car it sounds like you clapping to some ev’s but when u are standing outside the car u can only hear it as far as few feet’s away from the car and it’s not loud at all for a violation ticket for disturbing the peace. They ok with low bass on them too much bass they sound trash but again for the price and if you just want something that sounds nice these are good for that, I’m planning on buying voice speakers in the future for my car because I have loud bass system also boss but for now these are good, and also I added cheap $20 tweeters from Walmart to these 6x9’s and it gave it that perfect voice sound. ... show more

I installed these speakers in my 98 Civic May of 2022 while the car was sitting in a garage at my bus lot. My Civic was parked in my lot from the last week of June 2022 until the third week of July 2023 while I was doing random work to it. I've been driving the car since the end of July 2023 and back in October the passenger side speaker would only allow the sub on it to work when the speaker got warm or if you turned the volume up close to max and left it there for about 5 minutes, but the tweeters still worked the whole time, now as of December 2023 that speaker works perfect now. Just two weeks ago when I got off work I did some errands and then stopped at home and both speakers were fine, so I left the house to go visit my two little guys and the driver side speaker only had tweeters and and the subwoofer hasn't worked since. I am very disappointed with this set of speakers which on have about 6 months of use and I have been purchasing Boss speakers and CD players for years as I think they produce the best sound and their CD players push the speakers very good without an amp. This set of speakers are driven by a Boss CD player I purchased at Best Buy in 2021. I notice in my purchase history that I purchased an order about a year before this with the 400w Boss 6x9s which I put in a Mazda Protege driven by a Boss CD player and they still work great today 01-07-24. ... show more

    • Not bad for highs/mids, terrible for bass
For the price it's isn't bad, has no bass almost at all though (or really any low tones) so I'd reccomend getting a subwoofer. I paired it with 6.5s of the same brand and they sound good, plenty of mid and high tones. Like i said though the bass is almost nonexistent so if you're only putting in speakers and not a subwoofer, I'd look somewhere else or your ears might hurt a little. ... show more
