I bought these have had them in my truck for a lil while now, they can take some bass but not too much but i barely use them for bass as i have 2 12" sub that i just put in that i use forbass. One blew pretty quick or it just isnt tightened down good enough, cant figure it out yet, but for $47 to replace all 4 speakers i wont complain. But if you have the bass up and the volume at a lower level it sounds great but if it gets too loud you get crazy distortion. so as of now im using these or my mids and subs for bass. VERY clear treble and mid-range. Low-range is kind of meh - also clear, but not very pronounced - but that could be mostly due to the lack of any fancy enclosures in my application ('97 Ford Ranger) and the factory sound insulation. Sounds every bit as good as the Pioneer speakers I've used in the past, if not better, but for about half the price. Definitely a HUGE upgrade over my worn-out factory speakers. ... show more

I got the 300W pair. The front speakers in my car never worked and I got these so I could have some sound from the front. They do the job pretty well. They are noticeably quieter than my rear speakers (I used the same wiring, too). Pros: -Value - they sound surprisingly good for $25. -The kit was great, comes with everything you need. Cons: -At higher volumes, the sound quality drops a lot. That's really it. I haven't had any physical/mechanical issues. Install was straightforward. I'm happy with the value (good sound for such a low price), I just wish they were a bit louder. Bottom line: If you've only got $25 to spend on a pair of new speakers, you won't be disappointed with these. ... show more

First of you can’t really expect much for a pair of 30$ speakers. I myself was hoping to be surprised but that wasn’t the case. The sound is decent enough to get you by. I have a Pioneer radio installed in my 2002 Mercury Mountaineer the speakers get staticky as soon as you go passed 35 on the volume but like I said before can’t expect much out of 30$ speakers. 3 stars for the quality. ... show more

$18/set? kind of a no brainer. I have these and 2 boss CH6530's running on a JL 300/4 crossed over for mids and highs. They sound AMAZING. Don't let the "OFF" brand fool you, Boss knows what they are doing. After using these speakers, I decided to give their subs a shot (Phantom 12's Dual 4 ohm), I was not prepaired for the quality from such an inexpensive item. The tweeters on these things are ridiculous!!!! Ear piercing highs, crisp mids, can't really comment on bass response since I have never put anything lower than 120 Hz through them. Give them a try. You will probably find enough money in your couch to buy a set, so why not just go for it? ... show more

    • Don't bother with these at all BAD! WARRANTY
I purchased 2 sets of these, sounded decent until 1 started crackling 3 months after installation. I called warranty service from BOSS and they want you to send in the bad speaker along with a $30.00 money order to cover shipping back to you, plus you are responsible for shipping to them. Needless to say I had a few choice expletives for him. If you buy these just remember after 30 days you are on your own or it's actually cheaper just to buy a new set. CHINESE JUNK!
