I didn't expect much in the way of performance considering the price and physical size of the speakers (4x6) but am blown away by their performance and level of workmanship. I bought these to replace the stock dash speakers in my old truck. They fit right in using the stock speaker holes and sound great.

Great for a small speaker! Clear and powerful.

I placed these in a 1984 Porsche 944 in the front doors as replacement for the original speakers and I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality of these speakers. Great for a small speaker! Very clear and powerful! You can even get some bass out of these. (Unlike the Pyramid 446GS speakers I bought which sounded horrible and had litterally no bass). Great speakers for the money! Highly recommended! Just as good, if not better, than a pair of $90 4x6 Sony's! And way less expensive. Boss makes some great speakers and these are one of the great ones they make. I was disappointed on the shipping time. Very slow shipping! Took a long time to get here. Most items I buy on Amazon arrive fast, these did not!

Wanted to upgrade my front dash speakers in my 22 year old truck to come to realize that when I took out the front speakers to put the new ones in they were barely speakers but just tweeters. That year and make just had tweeters in the dash so putting a decent 3 way in there made for a lot better sound. And for only like 25 bucks you can’t beat the price. I actually have sound coming from my dash and not just treble to make my door speakers sound even better too.

The speakers are decent for the price. Less that $20 for a pair of speakers is not bad. I am not a fussy audio freak and don't have great ears. These sound good but not worth the 4 and 5 stars that people are giving them. I replaced 22 year old speaker in my RV and these are on par or marginally better than the ones we replaced. We got a pair of the 6.5 and the 4x6. I think the 4x6 were a better replacement than the 6.5". They look good and sound like you would expect cheap speakers to sound. not bad not great... 3 stars.

Well worth it for the price

These speakers are not for you if you’re looking to kick the bass and pump the volume but they work well in my truck that only had one working speaker. Sound is there and works for me.

You get what you pay for
Style: 4x6" Red 200W
Boss isn't the "best" brand by a long shot but you expect it to at least function right? Not the case here, from the first day one of the speakers didn't work well, the cone bottomed out and would cause the speaker to short, which caused all the other speakers to cut out as well, bumping my dashboard would have it work again but any bass would cause it to fail. I managed to make this speaker work with no bass and the other worked fine for the first month then died all together. These speakers are still in my car but barely work. Not upset about the lost money, but wouldn't reccomend to anyone. Side note, the cutting out problem happened right out of the box, due to the low cost and time it would take to send them back I never bothered disputing it. These speakers are not hooked up to an AMP, directly to the head unit and the one that did work, didn't sound bad but did not last long. Buyer beware! Update: Decided to contact the company as the speaker that was bottoming out decided to fail all together and the one good speaker blew out randomly. Upon removing the speakers from the car I noticed that the tweeters came loose as well, TERRIBLE quality for something less than a year old. I contacted the company earlier in the week and have yet to receive any word from them. I highly suggest NOT purchasing this product. I will post a video review of the product later in the week showing the poor quality of these items. Update #2: I just got an email that someone found this review helpful so I will update again. The company never responded to my requests via e-mail, admittedly I did not try very hard given the cost of the product and my time is more valuable than these speakers but I will attempt to contact them via phone this week. The most they will probably do at this point is offer me replacements, which I would never use given m experience. Both speakers are now out of my vehicle pending replacements, to anyone reading who need 4x6 but Kicker, they make a quality product and the cost won't break the bank. As for these Boss speakers, neither one of them work now, pressing on the cone will cause one to work but as soon as take your hand away it fails. Absolutely horrible product. As another note, these speakers are rated 100 watt RMS, 200 watt max, there is absolutely no way this is possible. My radio handles 50w RMS per channel and I kept the bass real low due to my subs handling the low end in the car. These speakers failed with little to no stress and physically fell apart (tweeters became lose). Save your time and buy a name brand please! I will update one final time when I get in contact with the company.

Boss Has Did It Again (Superb)

Boss has always put out a great product and they most definitely did a great job with this speaker too. The quality is up to par and I have no complaints. This speaker has highs, mids, and lows, all built into one speaker. You can't beat that for the price you are paying. I would highly recommend this speaker to another. (you won't be disappointed)
