I custom built a stand for my Polaris 800 Sportsman in order to mount this on. Most of my friends put the speaker on the rack in front of them on their 4-wheelers. I put mine behind me. Doesn't block your view and you can hear the music very well. This thing is built pretty strong and water-proof. Had to have that because we do get into water a lot. I got the Bluetooth compatible unit so I could use my phone to listen to the music . I would recommend the unit itself to anyone wanting to enjoy your music while riding. You just have to use your own imagination on how you want to mount it though. UPDATE !! >>>>05/31/2014>>>>> Just to let anyone know that's thinking of getting one of these ?? It's getting into full riding season again here and all is still going well with my BOSS BLUETOOTH AUDIO SYSTEM ! I have personally added a lot of features on my bike to accommodate my music. It's just a big part of a good ride for me. Wish you could add pic's besides video and I could give some of you guys some suggestions on mounting these things. I've had a lot of inquires about the one I made for mine. A little time consuming, but well worth the effort. I've also added a lot of electronic hook-ups on mine to accommodate different devices. I can listen to either my Go-list on my phone.......MP3.....or my XM Radio !!! All via bluetooth !!......I love it. I've read a lot of reviews on here about these speakers. I know....I know... you get a lemon from time to time with everything, but as for my personal experience with BOSS ??.....I had a control pad on mine to go bad. I just e-mailed them and explained what was going on and it wasn't very long someone got back with me and said if I could send them the "Proof of Purchase", they would fix me up. So...I emailed them a copy of it and low and behold....they sent me a brand new controller !!! As far as I'm concerned ????...I appreciate that and will do business with them again. Yes, the speakers have a "ONE YEAR WARRANTY"....and I believe as long as it's in that period, they will make good on what they claim. These things still sound as good as the day I installed them too. OH btw........there is this lil' device called "BlueSENSE TRM"....they have them on AMAZON. If you have these "BLUETOOTH" speakers....and your MP3 or other device isn't bluetooth compatible ???....well, you get this lil' device and it will be. Only costs about $ 30.00. No bigger than an MP3 player and works great. You have to have bluetooth speakers in order for it to work though. Worked out perfect for me. This way I can listen to my MP3 or my XM Radio while ridin' my 4-wheeler. Check it out !!! Just wanted to let you guys know.........

I needed something for my old dune buggy, and chose this speaker setup. I wanted something simple that has bluetooth and just needs a power outlet. I installed a 12V power panel and this speaker plugs in via typical auto outlet. Strapped the speaker on to my buggy today and easily connected to my phone with bluetooth. It is loud enough to hear over my very loud engine. Sound quality is good enough, especially considering it is competing with the aforementioned engine. This is precisely what I was going for, and works extremely well at the price point.

It's pretty loud can hear it over my 4 wheeler motor when I turn up my phone or mp3 player all the way there alittle distortion but not to bad and I mounted it to the front of my 4 wheelers rack with a flat bar I bolted to it and used 7 inch house clamps to secure it so dosent move at all so far way better then the straps that come with it they let it move all over only 4 stars because of the distortion and the straps but I would by another one

Used it for a full weekend at Hatfield & McCoy. Bluetooth kept breaking out first day, come to find out the remote plug was loosening and losing connection (wish it screwed together). Zip tied it together and worked great rest of trip. Truly enjoy the sound it puts out. I would recommend.

Sound is ok. If you're going at a slower pace. Once I hit about 45, I can't hear it over the engine noise of the rzr. Installed in a 2011 900XP. Chopped the cage, installed it on the back, pointing towards the seats, so rearview mirror is pretty worthless now. Bluetooth is great, and I do like the ease of use/setup - super easy. All in all, I like it - but mainly because I got it for half the retail price on prime day. If I had to it to do again, I would go a different route for audio, just so I would be able to hear it going down the road. However, since we do more crawling than trail riding, it'll do. Update - I see reviews saying using the aux cord generates better sound. I will try that next. UPDATE #2 - 4/10/2017 - I purchased this in July of 2016 to install on a Polaris Rzr. Up until this weekend it has been used 4-6 times and has around 15-20 hours on it. This last weekend we went out and I plugged it in, and I connected bluetooth. No sound. I messed with the volume and cords for a bit and heard a bit of a verse of a song that had static, and came out one speaker at a low volume, even though it was turned all the way up for - about 10 seconds, and then total silence. I will contact Boss to see if there's anything they can do about it and I will update here. UPDATE#3 4/18/2017 - I emailed the company on 4/10/2017 & was promptly emailed back by a Raul Garcia ([email protected]) and was informed that I had to include my receipt in order for them to get information to process a return authorization. Item includes a one year manufacturers warranty. I responded that day with the information he requested. I responded again on 4/17/2017 asking why they haven't contacted me. And as of today, EIGHT DAYS LATER - nothing. I am changing my rate from a 3 star to a 1 star due to lack of customer service & due to the item not being able to prove it's advertising hype. Conclusion - speaker is 8 months old. Used it less than 20 hours and has now quit working. Company was quick to respond on the first email but has since dropped the ball. VERY disappointed in this purchase. Next time I will not go the cheap route, as in the end it only costs more money. Will look into a real speaker system. 4/24/2017 - I have emailed the company 3 more times, and nothing. Stay far and away from this item. 4/26/17 - Since Boss Audio will not contact me - I contacted Amazon about advice on what I should do. I was this clos () to taking Boss Audio to small claims court - JUST to prove a point (I know, it would have done nothing for the cash I'm out, probably cost me more, but maybe for future purchases it would have made them respect their customers more). ANYWAY - Amazon is replacing the speaker for free. AND sending me a prepaid shipping lable to send back the old one. Sorry that Amazon has to take this up the you know what, but this is the reason I shop with Amazon, and I try to make sure Amazon is the seller on most of my purchases. At least I can trust them when it comes to customer service. Boss Audio? NEVER AGAIN. If this speaker craps out, I'm done. I'll get a real system for my rig.
