I recently had the need to do a bit of coast-to-coast flying, and my old noise-cancelling headphones had long ago bit the dust. I didn't want a wireless set, so I bought these, in spite of the fact that they are no longer being made by Bose. And I'm glad I did. I was able to watch a couple of movies on one trip at a very comfortable volume, thanks to the efficient noise cancelling features of this set. I did the same thing coming back, although I loaned them to my wife for one of her movies. She agreed that it made the listening experience much more satisfying than standard ear buds. Make sure you check carefully that the Headphones are NEW! Never buy refurbished or fixed Bose headphones. I brought a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones a few days ago from Amazon; but I did not notice the one on Amazon website were not new. They arrived in very poor condition late one evening. The smell was terrible; they smelled like an unwashed human. The smell was so strong; that I immediately threw them away; because they were smelling up my home. I actually had a new pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones several years ago; and they were really great headphones while they lasted, but nothing lasts forever. If I find a new pair; I would buy them; since I loved the pair I had several years ago. ... show more

Great seller to do business with. Called for a minor technical issue and an engineer answered the phone and addressed the problem and gave me a fix in 30 seconds. So pleased, I bought a second pair of the second headphones when I hung up from the call.

I have owned two pairs of Bose QuietComfort 15 headphones over the years. They were great. I was clumsy and lost both pairs. So I went to buy some new ones and found that this model had been replaced by new models which had tons of features I did not want and of course cost $280 or so. I decided to look for a used Bose QuietComfort 15 & found one on Amazon. The headphones arrived promptly. They were clean and in great condition.     • Just what I wanted
I use these noise cancelling headphones when I fly and since I do about two significant trips a year I definitely wanted the "quiet" they provided but I couldn't justify the cost of new ones. I purchased used ones and they were great. They arrived in the condition described and worked just fine. I tried to cancel and return this order and was assured by the seller that these headphones would work fine with a desktop PC. My concern was that the product box specifically said it was compatible with iPhones and Samsung devices. Cut to 4 months later when I finally had occasion to try them out. Nothing, not a even a crackle. I re-read the instructions. Made sure the battery was installed properly. The noise canceling light indicator works, so there is power, but no sound. I got ripped off. I've had a coupe of these headsets. I'm still hard wired, so they work great for me. Eventually, I'll probably have to move to a Bluetooth set up as I upgrade electronics. The sound cancelling is great on airplanes and sound quality is very good, although I'm mostly deaf. I highly recommend them for hard wired applications. ... show more
