I was in a jam to make a first floor bedroom for my 85 year old mother to visit. She had no complaints sleeping on this for a week. She said it was a Huge improvement from the upgraded Sealy mattress I had previously. 2 of my adult kids have slept on it and feel like it is the most comfortable sofa bed ever! No Bars in your back! I wanted to buy a bed, but ran out of time (& money). I moved my Queen sleeper couch into the den. Threw the old mattress out & replaced with this. It came a day late, which was a bit of a problem, but very grateful that I made this purchase. I have another newer sofa bed in family room that I recently slept on with a traditional upgraded sofa bed mattress and this is much more comfortable!!! Best I've experienced on any sofa bed. One idea too, would be to add a mattress topper for an elderly guest (likely have to remove to close sofa), but not required. I was thinking I would have to but, we did fine without.

Well worth the money. I went with this brand because of having previously purchased the trifolding mattresses. The quality was just as nice and surprisingly quite supportive for only being 4.5" thick. Husband likes it better than our $2k mattress because of the firmness. The kids like it and don't think it's too firm so everybody wins. The cover it comes with, while soft and of good quality, is not waterproof so I will still need to purchase an encasement cover for it. Would definitely buy again from this company

Measure your frame! We have a queen size and this mattress is too small -- I didn't measure my frame beforehand and trusted the "queen size" so I'm not deducting from the rating because that was my fault. This is just a word of caution to everyone else. Expensive mistake. That being said, it is significantly more comfortable than the mattress that came with the bed. I can feel where the bar is, but it is very minimal and so much better than before. I think this is a great purchase and it was worth the money. It is a tight squeeze to fold back up, but it does fold back up.

We don’t know the comfort of the mattress as we don’t sleep on it. But it seems to be a big improvement from the coil spring mattress it replaced. We allowed 48 hours for it to open completely. It for right into our Queen sleep sofa with no problem .

I needed to replace the mattress in the sofa bed in my Airbnb rental. I read the reviews before purchasing this one. It arrived rolled in a box and I was concerned that it would end up flat as I have had foam products that did not. The "opener" tool was excellent for opening the packaging without risk of cutting the mattress. It instantly rolled out flat! I allowed the 24 hours for it to expand. This mattress is great. When you lay on it it is slightly firm (in a comfortable way). You do not feel the bars in the sofa bed. It was a bit of a tight fit when I closed up the bed but I know my guests will enjoy the new mattress. I do not notice any odor. I highly recommend this mattress.
