The noise cancellation is the best I’ve experienced, effectively blocking both low-frequency drone and mid-frequency city noise. Sonically, the bass is punchy, the mids are clear, and the highs remain smooth; additional settings and controls in the app make it easy to fine-tune the sound. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are incredible. Setup was quick and effortless using the Bose app, and I love how easy it is to customize all the sound and control settings. The Immersive Audio mode is especially impressive—music feels fuller, more spacious, and almost three-dimensional. The fit is excellent as well. The earbuds sit securely and comfortably, and they stay put even if you’re moving around a lot or working out. Noise cancelling is top-notch, just what you’d expect from Bose. The Desert Gold limited edition color looks even better in person—premium and unique without being flashy. Bose is out with its new QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) and they are a winning continuation of the QuietComfort Earbud line that was first introduced in 2020. The Gen 2 Ultras now come in four colors. In addition to the traditional White Smoke and Black, Bose has added Deep Plum and Midnight Violet colorways. Also new for Gen 2 is wireless charging via the case, in addition to USB-C connectivity, and case battery level reporting in the Bose app. Bose also claims to have improved call quality and its ActiveSense noise cancellation. I have the Gen 1 Ultras (which my wife has been coveting, hence the upgrade) and can attest to almost complete silence on a commercial flight. No jet engine noise or babies crying...just pure bliss. While have not yet flown with the Gen 2s, I have been mowing the lawn, again with almost complete silence except for the deep bass and pure highs of the music playing from my phone. Music reproduction is accurate and rich with a wide soundstage and telephone calls come through clearly and without distortion. The earbuds are very comfortable for prolonged use and fit securely once you find the right size tips and retention bands. There is even an Earbud Seal Test in the app to ensure best performance. With a battery life of up to 6 hours and several recharges available in the case, these earbuds will work for quite a while if used judiciously.     • Works for my Android phone and impressive sound quality!

I have an Android phone and I was using a different earbuds which unfortunately Im unable to use all the features it touted. So I needed an earbuds that aside from comfort I'm able to use all capabilities. I've had other Bose products and I was fairly confident that Bose wouldn't let me down. I'm happy to say that yay, I got my money's worth! The sound quality was impressive and the sample audio clip that Bose had during the setup phase really showed that off. I like that it had all these different features in there, Still Immersion, etc. So of course, I listed to my own songs and it was great. Noise cancelling was superb in my honest opinion. I heard the difference when it is on and off. I didn't hear my Mom when she was talking with the earbuds on and I'm like duh! i have the earbuds on lol. This was without any sound on so my Mom's voice was so distant and far away. I also tested the Bose with my work laptop as I conduct video meetings and again I'm very happy with it. My coworkers did not complain that they couldn't hear me so it looks like the mic placement in the Bose is great. I'm happy to no longer use my big headphones with the sticking out microphone. By the way, the Bose was Bluetooth connected to my two devices, my Android Phone and work laptop and there was no issue to start using the work laptop for the video meetings so that was very convenient. In regard to fit, I did not change the pads. It looks like medium is my size, and so far, I have not experienced any pain in my ear from wearing it too long. I've had it on for about an hour. I will have to continue to observe if I experience any pain if I wear it for more than an hour. The case itself is pretty portable, in my opinion, and it is not slippery — which I love because I don’t feel the need to purchase a case cover. This uses a USB-C and has wireless charging, and both so far have worked flawlessly. In conclusion, I totally recommend these Bose earbuds. I am using it for both work and personal reasons and so Im definitely getting the bang out of my buck. ... show more
