  • The most simple yet PERFECT dust collection solution for table saws!
Size: One Size
I am using this currently on my DeWalt compact jobsite table saw, and no other items were necessary to attach this. Before purchasing this, when I didn't want to go through the hassle of connecting a vacuum and turning it on every time I made a cross cut on a 3" wide wood floor board, I used a rubber band and disposable contractors trash bag to collect dust. This collector bag works very well even without having air power like a shop vac. The efficiency of this would probably be dependent on what kind of saw blade you are using, and how wide the clearance on your throat plate is. I am currently using a Freud 10" combination rip/cross blade with 50 teeth, with the original throat plate that came with the table saw (probably 1/2" opening). The more teeth your blade has, the finer the particles of dust, and the smaller the throat plate opening, the less chance of dust coming back up from the base of the saw during the rotation. The important fact about this is the composition of the bag. Its very solid, has a very high thread count, but its VERY breathable. I tried to blow into the opening as hard as i could, and the bag seriously didn't expand/move. So this means there is no resistance to airflow, and therefore doesn't kick the dust back up to your face. The shape is perfect, because there is nothing for the dust to sit on near the opening, and prevents any clogging. The bag is very easy to empty, and to get my point across, I tried clapping my hands with the bag 1/3 filled with sawdust, and no dust escaped through the fabric! That is awesome. And also, the height of the bag happens to be the exact height of the opening of the port on the table saw and the ground, so the bag doesn't sag on the ground, OR hang. The bottom just perfectly touches the ground. ... show more

  • My circuit breaker is thankful for this bag.
Size: One Size
Like many reviewers here I use this bag with DeWALT jobsite table saw (model 7480, but I'm sure other trims will do as well). It does a great job, collecting probably a good 80-90% of all sawdust. The way most modern table saws are designed is that the blade is enclosed in the dust chute, and the rotation of the blade actually creates an air flow towards the chute exit with blade teeth working like fan blades. So it sucks most dust out that way. When I turn on the saw I can see the bag inflate, which is why it is important to have a bag that lets the air out (unlike plastic garbage bags) and keeps the dust in. So the saw sort of works like a vacuum by itself. I am sure, that attaching a shop vacuum will create even more suction, collecting even more dust, but when I tried - my circuit breaker made a firm protest. It told me that running a shop vacuum and a table saw on the same circuit is a no-no, and tripped right up. So I run them sequentially. First the saw with the bag attached, then I collect what dust remains on the table and a bit under the saw with a vac. I usually do the later at the end of a day or after especially heavy jobs, because there is not much left there. When I compare what ended up in the bag vs inside the vacuum - the bag is a clear winner by huge margin. Most dust ends up in there. And the circuit breaker approves of such an approach too. ... show more

  • This bag works best if the saw blade is enclosed dust chute (most ...
Size: One Size
It does what it says it does in the description, it catches most (but not all dust). This bag works best if the saw blade is enclosed dust chute (most newer saws have this). It does better with plywood over MDF, but I'm assuming that has to do with the dust size and weight. I will still use this dust bag as it saves a lot of dust cleanup after cutting wood. This bag should fit any 2 1/2 inch dust port; which is most contractor type table saws. One problem that I did have is that the seams on the top near the spring clamp came undone. I just took a sewing needle and thread and re-stiched it up. It's better now and this seemed to close in the gap for dust to escape near the clamp. ... show more

  • Great value and good quality for a simple dust collecting solution
Size: One Size
For the ones that say it does not fit. You are supposed to get an adapter just like everything else with shopvacs. I hooked it up to a Dewalt 4791 type 10. The bag works very well. It has good air flow and dust flow, which reduces the amount of dust going to the undesired direction. Yeah, sometimes it will clog but that is expected with a bag. When it clogs just go clear up the clog, you know because you get more dust coming out of the blade. It's regular maintenance for this type of solution. This bag does not clog very often and for the price, it's great! If you don't want to deal with dust clogs then connect a shopvac or other dust collection systems with a additional air flow. ... show more

  • Great dust bag!!!!!
Size: One Size
What a great dust bag that fits my new Skil table saw. Fits perfect and collected almost everything that came through the dust portal under the blade.. Totally worth the 12 bucks and change to not have to sweep tons of saw dust off the floor. Just unzipped it and it all came out.. Would totally recommend if you are a simpleton woodworker like myself and dont have a fancy elaborate dust collection system in your shop. Not to mention that it is really long and went almost all the way to the floor making it able to hold quite a bit of dust. I will empty it every time I use it because its so easy, but its still nice to see that you get a good value for your money and they product is quality and well designed. ... show more

  • A good item to own, tho you may own a few.
Size: One Size
Remember the days of high quality items that were made with the importance of longevity? Well this isn’t one of those items. It’s cheaply made. Eventually the stiching will come apart around the zipper and it will be trash. Now that that is out of the way, this bag is cheap in price and worth purchasing. I typically use dust collection on my field table saw but when I only have a few rips to cut I use this. I use a Dewalt portable table saw and this Bosch bag fits with no issues. The squeeze type collar should allow it to attach to most any site saw. It catches tons of dust, chips and debris from the dust port of my saw. The material is light weight and honestly I don’t believe it’s enough to last the test of time. The stitching is really the main issue. It’s just poorly done. The bottom line is for the price, the clean up it saves you pays for this in just a few jobs. Being able to quickly pull the bag and dump it and put you saw away is valuable in saving time. For someone that’s takes care of their tools this could potentially last for years. I have purchased a few of these and will continue to do so. • Mucho polvo
Size: One Size
The Bosch 4100-9 saw that uses this dust collector bag produces lots of dust with the full 1/8" kerf blade that I prefer, hence "mucho polvo". That's about all the Spanish I know. This bag comes at a really fair price and works reasonably well. It hooks up with a spring clamp, no tools required. When I use it, I'm collecting perhaps two thirds of the dust, with the rest accumulating in the works of the table saw and on the floor. I normally use my shop vac which vastly reduces the amount of sawdust being produced to maybe just 10% that is not captured. But sometimes the bag is just easier if I've got just a few cuts to make, or if I'm operating outdoors where I'm less concerned. It is quite large and holds a surprising amount, so you don't have to empty it very often. As with all Bosch accessories, it is well designed and well executed. ... show more

  • Works better than expected
Size: One Size
I was apprehensive about this collection bag based on the reviews. However, for the price, and because I was generating a lot of saw dust, I decided to give it a try. I do have a rather powerful shop vacuum that I would sometimes attach to the saw for larger jobs, but that was always a hassle, and particularly for those occasional short cuts. So, I decided to try this dust bag. To my pleasant surprise, it has worked very well. Apparently, Bosch has made some improvements since other reviews were written, since the bag I received was made of heavy cloth material and has a nice zipper in the bottom for easy saw dust removal. The bag collects virtually ALL the saw dust that goes through the dust port, and only when the neck of the bag got inadvertently restricted by the power cord did it ever clog up. On the occasions when I've attached the shop vacuum, I really have to say that I don't think it collected much more saw dust than this simple (and inexpensive) dust bag does. So---bottom line, the dust bag seems to have been redesigned by Bosch, and for me it works well, and much better than expected. For the price, I don't think you can go wrong. ... show more
