Not as substantial as the one that replaced I do not know if this matters just letting everyone know if you own a pilot Odyssey Etc you will notice this replacement thermostat seems very small I will replace it with OEM Honda and approximately two to three years I am in no mood to pull it back out

This replacement thermostat is superior to other (cheaper) replacement brands because it has a jiggle valve, just like the original. And it is just built better. I tried a cheaper alternative which didn't have the jiggle valve and the overheating problems returned. The system bled correctly with the new thermostat and I don't have to keep one eye on the temperature gauge all the time. ... show more

This thermostat is an exact match to the original OEM unit. It has the important jiggle bi-pass valve that not all replacements have as they should.
