A lot of people have commented on the fit and I’m no exception. I have a 17.5” jumping saddle and this fits but it’s tight. Very tight. The cover itself is great. The outer fabric is durable and the fleeced underside is nice too. I waited to write this to see how it held up, and it’s been great. I was hoping it would stretch out a little bit it hasn’t. Regardless I’m still happy with it. I got the green and I like it. If you have a dressage saddle don’t waste your time. It’ll never fit. You’ve been warned. This cover has soft fleece, a hardy exterior, and good elastic to it to get over and fit around saddle flaps of different orientations. There isn't much give from the pommel to the cantle, though, and because the cantle seam is square, it might not suit a wide round shape. It's great for me--it fits my 16.5 inch jumping saddle with some room to spare--but I wouldn't expect it to work for a large dressage saddle with long flaps. ... show more

I own two of these, and both have held up wonderfully!! The older of the two is at least 2 years old, and even with near-daily use of stretching it on and off, the rlastic is still about the same as the one I just bought 2 months ago. In a pinch, you can even ride with this cover on! The soft fleece underside doesn't scratch your saddle at all, and the outer nylon is water repellent. So if it rains, leave it on!! ... show more
