Description

This BOSCH 12V Max Flexiclick 5-In-1 Drill/Driver System features an efficient EC Brushless motor for max runtime and upgraded power – 300 In. -Lbs. of torque. The GSR12V-300FC is designed for professionals who want a high-quality tool that redefines their limits to get the tough jobs done. At only 1. 2 Lbs. (tool only, not including battery) and a max speed of 1, 750 rpm, this robust drill/driver delivers the performance you expect in the size you want. It has two speed settings – a 0-460 rpm for high-power driving tasks and 0-1, 750 rpm for high-speed drilling. It starts with a magnetic bit holder for basic driving. The four attachments – a locking bit holder, a keyless chuck, an offset-angle and a right angle– each attach to the tool securely and easily with the One-Click interface. The right-angle attachment is for tight spaces, and it works with all three other adapters. The offset-angle attachment delivers precise screwdriving close to edges. Both of these attachments rotate to 16 positions without removing them. The locking bit holder attachment locks hex bits for high-torque drilling, while the keyless chuck provides locked-in drilling.

  • Almost a work of art. It is something an old craftsman would appreciate
Style: EC Brushless Motor
I've had a few Bosch tools over the years, some are very old, and I've never been disappointed. The people that put together the specs for this product deserve a huge bonus as do everyone else who worked to make it available. Most people that need tools are always saying akin to why didn't manufacturer consider ***. Bosch did consider what many people wanted and needed. Power is essential and so is small for many projects and this product delivers. As soon I opened the box and put together the options, the quality was evident. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed, except someone who is by nature never pleased. ... show more

  • Great idea but needs small improvements
Style: EC Brushless Motor
Ended up purchasing this for use on an AV job. I used it for about 2 weeks daily. Let's break down some of the features: 1) Ergonomic and comfortable grip, this newer grip texture is improved over the past model. 2) Brushless motor is powerful, but I did notice this drill is a little "loud". It never felt underpowered. 3) Super lightweight, especially with no chuck attached. I really liked this for belt carry. 4) Many different attachments to accomplish most jobs, glad they included an offset driver. 5) The lock system is easy to use, but there is a potential problem with it (will detail later in review) 6) Carry case is basic, but does the job. 7) Belt clip works fine, but a little sharp on the edges, so I polished mine some. Now to the potential problem with the attachment lock system. I will also note, this is the first time I've had to address such an issue on a Bosch tool. I ignored some reviews on the older one, maybe this model about how chucks/attachments could fall off on their own, essentially. I personally didn't use mine long enough for this to develop, as I returned it due to an event of a strong electrical smell, while fastening a nut down. The drill did work after, no issues, and even "torture tested it" with no problems, but still returned it with intention of picking one up in the future. But anyways, my co-worker got one as well, as he really liked mine. Over a year later, I was using his, and noticed how easy it was for the attachment lock ring to rotate. He also gave me feedback how he had dropped attachments from the ceiling, even got super lucky once as it fell through a hole instead of damaging an expensive table. I experienced it first hand, so I will confirm there is a potential problem with the lock ring being too easy to activate after a particular amount of use, causing the chuck/attachment to fall off drill.. For some, usage might not reveal this, and might not be an issue; less of an issue if you aren't up in the air needing to be safe. Overall, I really loved this drill, comfortable, powerful, convenient.. but might hold off getting one again for now. I'm also a big Bosch guy, but have no problem admitting a potential fault of the product. ... show more

  • Great for most DIY and light home projects
Style: EC Brushless Motor
Let's be real, most of us don't need pro grade or 18v+ drills. This 12v tool is strong enough and more practical than most drills for jobs around the house. The multi heads are great but so far I've only used the drill chuck and driver attachments. The handle is a little too thick to be comfortable for me because I have relatively small hands but you get used to it after a while. I wish it came in a hard case but the soft bag majes it very portable and less expensive. I would buy it again. ... show more

  • Initial impressions
Style: EC Brushless Motor
I've just recently received this kit and only have initial impressions so far. I will update over time. The tool seems well made and surprising heavy for how small it is; it feels like a quality power tool, only very small. There's obviously more metal than plastic inside. The variable speed trigger is linear and allows good speed control throughout the range. You can run the bit very slowly for precise control when needed. I will likely use the tool with hex shank bits most often, and without any adapter. The small adapter with the locking hex collar is unnecessary unless worried about a bit pulling out of the magnetic holder in the bare head. (Maybe when working on a ladder) It's likely strong enough for most hex bit drilling/driving. The adapters connect with a positive, but slightly stiff rotation and click. I can't imagine the adapters coming loose while in use. As others have said, the case is the bare minimum they could provide. It's almost like something they had from another product and decided to include it here too. Marginal, at best. I did notice a couple of quirks: The battery power meter above the trigger has a soft glow that continues for several minutes after the meter is off. It's like an LED is still lit very dimly. It's hard to see in bright light and it does eventually go off. I'm not sure if that's by design or a bug. It's not worth sending back for this since it may be normal. It would be great if someone else could check theirs. Also, the two supplied battery packs slide into the handle with a different feel: one is snug; the other fairly loose. Both lock securely. Again, not a big deal, but a little variation in build quality. I'll update as I use the tool more. I have several corded and 18v Bosch power tools and expect a good experience based on my approx 10 year history with this brand. ... show more
