  • Great tool for any DIY task and even pro work!
Style: Industrial
This is the perfect tool for your DIY stuff as well as if you are a pro. The flex head system is the icing on the cake. Regular driver, 90° driver is one that locks in place so you can operate the driver with one hand and use your other hand on the object! Most right angle adapters you have to hold the adapter with one hand and operate the driver with the other so you end up having to clamp or tape or have a helper of some kind to steady the object you are working on. The oblique driver attachment is perfect for those screws that are in tight against a vertical when you don't have room for a right angle attack on the bolt or screw! Then the drill attachment is just that but it's nice in that you have a normal drill chuck to use normal drill bits etc. As others mentioned, the only lacking part is the case. I mean it works but only that. It doesn't add anything to the picture at all, except it has a case! I've bought 2 more as gifts! One for my brother and one for my best friend so that should tell you something. You will not be disappointed on purchasing this great tool. Great form, size, power, flexibility of use and build quality. Home run indeed. ... show more

  • Four Years Later, Bosch 12V Brushless Drill Kit Remains the Best DIY Tool Purchase I've Ever Made
Style: Industrial
This is my long-term review of the Bosch 12V Compact Brushless Drill Set after more than four years of ownership. To provide some background, I am a DIY enthusiast who enjoys repairing things around the house, building projects, and investing in quality tools that will last. Over the years, I have used products from several major tool brands, and this Bosch kit has easily become one of my favorite purchases. My cordless tool journey initially started with DeWalt, but I was disappointed by the battery performance and overall experience. I also considered Milwaukee and Makita, both of which are excellent professional-grade brands, but many of their tools felt larger and heavier than what I needed for everyday DIY projects. I had previously owned Bosch products and had good experiences with the brand, so when Bosch introduced this compact 12V brushless lineup, I decided to give it a chance despite seeing mixed opinions from reviewers at youtube that time. Looking back, it was one of the best tool-buying decisions I have ever made. The first thing that impressed me was the size and weight. This is one of the most compact and lightweight drill kits I have ever used. The 12V 2.0Ah batteries are small, easy to handle, and make the tool comfortable to use for extended periods without causing fatigue. Despite its compact size, the performance is surprisingly capable. One of the biggest advantages of this kit is its versatility. The system includes multiple attachments, including right-angle and offset attachments, allowing you to work in tight spaces that would be difficult to access with a traditional drill. Instead of buying several specialized tools, this kit provides a complete solution in one package. Over the past four years, I have used this set for countless projects. It has helped me assemble furniture, build garden structures, install shelves, drive hundreds of screws, and drill numerous holes in a variety of materials. Throughout all of those tasks, it has performed flawlessly. The brushless motor provides excellent efficiency and power, while the two-speed gearbox allows you to switch between precision work and higher-speed drilling when needed. The only aftermarket addition I made was upgrading to aftermarket USB-C battery charger. That upgrade was a game changer. Being able to charge the batteries directly from a USB-C charger, power bank, or even a phone charger makes the system incredibly convenient, especially when traveling or working away from a traditional workshop. What impresses me most is the reliability. After four years of regular use, this drill still performs like it did when I first purchased it. The batteries remain dependable, the attachments still fit securely, and the tool has never failed me during a project. That kind of long-term durability is becoming increasingly rare. Overall, I cannot recommend this Bosch 12V Brushless Drill Kit highly enough. Whether you are an experienced DIY enthusiast or someone buying their very first cordless tool, this kit offers an outstanding combination of versatility, compactness, reliability, and value. If I could only keep one drill set in my workshop, this would be the one. Even after four years, it remains one of the best tool purchases I have ever made, and I still proudly recommend it whenever someone asks for a cordless drill recommendation. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Industrial
This has perfectly fit my intended usage. The narrow offset head lets me get to the Torx bolts on my Jeep door without the drill itself touching my paint and damaging it. Plus it's so easy to use and very well balanced. It's now my #1 go to. Great price, good torque. I had to adjust how tightly it zips down the screws. Battery life seems good, I've taken the top off/on and doors off/on 5 times already. I think this setup will last me a lifetime. ... show more

  • The Best Choice Ever for a Drill/Driver Like This!
Style: Industrial
The best, most flexible drill/driver ever! I don't know how I got through 40+ years of DIY without this. (Well at least the last few). I use this tool everywhere. It's very high quality, feels great in the hand, and is lighter than a full size. I was a little concerned about the power of a 12V, but it's much more powerful than expected. The number of combinations of drilling or driving is endless. The batteries last much longer than expected. The only con is that the case is not designed with practicality as everything just flops around. So, I made an insert out of old hardwood I had laying around. However, Bosch should redesign the case with inserts for the drill heads. ... show more

  • perfect for tight spots and furniture assembly
Style: Industrial
This little drill/driver has the offset head for installing screws in tight places. I can't stress enough how great this is for assembling items. I leave it on all the time. I also have the Dewalt 12V Max system and it also has the offset head. And I have a Dewalt 20V full size drill. Here's where they all shine. For serious construction and big projects, 20V Dewalt wins. Get a huge battery or two. For project assembly and also the small to medium size project like installing a wall mount for a TV, the 12V Max is perfect. Not too big. Not too small and just enough power. For assembling furniture this little Bosch system is ideal. It's small enough to get into tight spots and has plenty of power to tighten screws. Also has a second battery standard. The 12V Max kit has one battery and the 20V come with none. ... show more

  • My new favorite tool
Style: Industrial
This tool is one of the most useful that I own. I have an old Ridgid 18 volt set, and they are great for the heavy duty stuff, but the vast majority of my jobs don't require too much torque. Enter the Bosch drill/driver, which is small but sturdy, and has enough torque to take care of most drilling and screwing tasks. You're not going to use a 4 inch hole saw, or take the lugnuts off a truck, but this is adequate for most jobs. It is ergonomic, compact, and heavier than it looks while still being lighter than any 18v tool. All of the attachments are sturdy, connect to the tool solidly, and work well. The gear shift let's you dial up the torque for the tougher jobs while going fast the rest of the time. If I were to improve something, I would like the lowest clutch setting to be even lower, as it is overkill for really delicate jobs, but I just go slow and be careful. This is not a precision screwdriver for putting together sensitive electronics, but I use it like one sometimes, and it's easy to control. I find myself reaching for this tool more frequently than any other. It's really outstanding. ... show more

  • Nice tool. Highly recommend!
Style: Industrial
So. My old metabo is dying and I need something light and comparable in power. Tried DeWalt - 2 returns due to quality control issues. Touched m12 fuel and m12 subcompact of red company. I do not like the grip. Fuel size is almost like m18. Subcompact provides come strange feeling of cheap product. So, made decision to try Bosch. I made a nice choice. Item is brand new. Box was sealed. This small drill has a lot of torque. The chuck has no wobble, screwdriver tip provides some wobbling for the bit. This is not critical. Screwdriver should not provide 100% stiff and solid bit connection. Everything works fine. Batteries last enough in my opinion. Grip is better than Milwaukee m12 and tool is smaller than fuel m12 drill and much more compact than m12 installation driver. Clutch works. On Metabo clutch works better but I think I need some time for adaptation. Flexclick system is nice. I like it more than m12 or DeWalt. For 139 on sale this is a nice deal. You will get powerful light compact drill. I will recommend this tool. ... show more

  • Perfect little kit.
Style: Industrial
I have a shop full of drills and drivers. I caught this on sale and thought the 90° attachment and the offset driver would be useful so I picked one up. I have to say, I love this kit. It is genuinely very useful and doesn’t lack in power. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheap. While I wouldn’t use this to build a deck or any project requiring heavy and repetitive use of a driver or drill, for everything else “around the house” or in tight spaces, this kit is perfect. It’s basically an “all in one” and then some. ... show more
