I had a kitchen sink back up just below the clean out on the outside wall of my home. I got a sewer jetter for the power washer from amazon and a blow up bulb type jetter u hook to water hose. And this camera to solve the problem. THIS found the issue and the jetter blasted out the blockage and I did not have to call a pro!! saved me LOTS of $$$$$ This camera is great for tiny or nasty spots u cant get to or dont want to get to. WAS plug and play and does not require internet connection which i like. U do need an app but u cant turn off data and it still worked. My AC drain line keeps getting clogged up causing the pan to fill up and triggering the float switch which shuts off my AC. I can get it cleared out by myself usually pretty easily, but the fact that it keeps happening so often had me thinking there must be pretty bad build-up in the line. I needed a way to see inside the drain line so I got this borescope in hopes that it would give me a good view. This is very easy-to-use and works great for the most part. I do wish it was a LITTLE more flexible as I did have some issues getting around the tighter corners of the drain line and did have to remove a large section to actually get the borescope into the main part of the line so I could see, but that's probably not an issue with most projects that would require the use of this borescope, since the drain line for my AC is pretty narrow. This little thing is great to have around I've mainly used it for some electrical projects I've had where I had to run new wire without removing the drywall and this this was a major help it's definitely gonna be handy for working on cars an different stuff I'd definitely recommend even if you don't need it now it'll probably make your life easier in the future lol. ... show more

There may be better products of this sort out there, but this is the only one I've used, so I've got nothing to compare it to. Given that, it came in very handy for me recently. When attempting to clean out my dryer vent, a connection between two sections of the flexible rod came apart, leaving two sections remaining lodged in the vent. In the included picture, you can see the threaded end of said rod. Using the scope, and a lot of patience, I was able to see into the vent and rethread a new section and pull it out. Without the advantage of this tool, the task would have been much more difficult. Nice product to have on hand. ... show more

    • Mostly works, except for the angles mirror attachment
Works OK; decent image quality and built-in light. Cable is semi-rigid, long (5 meters / 16.4 ft) and can be fed down a drainpipe fairly easily. USB-C connector at the end, but nice that it comes with both a USB Micro B and Apple Lightning attachments. There is a small physical scrollwheel which lets you change the intensity of the built-in LEDs. (there is a small circular array of LEDs around the camera lens itself) don't know if it works with any other capture programs, but the instructions have you download a vague program called USee Plus. (for Android & IPhone). App permissions seem OK (access to camera, images/video storage, network) It came with a couple of screw-on attachments: a small hook, a small magnet, a blank barrel, and an attachment with an angled mirror which should allow the camera to look sideways instead of straight ahead. Unfortunately the one I received was missing the screwthread in the mirror attachment entirely, which means that it is impossible to use since it can't be screwed into the camera end. Not a complete showstopper since you probably want to look straight ahead most of the time anyway, but it is a bit sloppy. Note that it is rated IP67, which means "water proof up to one meter of water immersion" Keep in mind that the cable is 5 meters long, so inserting the entire thing in water could exceed its rating. ... show more
