After getting catcher’s gear for him, I bought this bag for my 7 year-old son who outgrew the Easton backpack he was using. He loves that he can roll all of his own gear to practice and games. The only knock I have on this product is that the backpack straps drag on the ground when younger players roll it. I had to shorten the straps, roll up the excess and tape them to keep them off the ground. And if your child plays multiple positions and has more than one glove (specifically catcher), I would use the lower shoe compartment for gloves/mitts. It gets pretty tight on space with a chest protector, catcher’s helmet and a batting helmet in the top compartment. Once it’s packed though, it’s a great bag and very light, even full of gear, and very easy for my son to maneuver. ... show more

Holds all the catchers gear and his fielding glove (plays multi position) quality is great love the feature that he can carry it like a bookbag or wheel it! Color is as shown.     • Spacious bag for ALL the catcher’s gear plus some!

Takes a beating! Held ALL of the gear. Catchers stuff… rolling bag with a telescoping handle to pull. The handle telescopes about 6 in… sometimes wishing it would have come up higher….but gets the job done. Closes up well. Lots of pockets, more space in this bag than any other bag we could find in person! We looked everywhere! Would buy again! ... show more

The bag is great, however, my son also wear knee savers when he catches and these do not fit in the bag. We had to return the bag because the point was to have one bag for all of his gear. We needed to find a larger bag.

Limited space. Not ideal for holding 2 helmets (catchers helmet and a batting helmet) along with gloves. The small bag compartments are small and do not hold many items. Bag is ideal for athletes that do not carry catchers gear.

    • Boombah has the best customer service!
We have purchased and owned many Boombah softball bags throughout the last several years. We love them so much, we probably couldn't be sold on any other brand! But, after purchasing one for my daughter for Christmas, it had an issue with the wheel and it was no longer usable. First time this has happened after owning at least 6 throughout the years. When I contacted customer service, I was expecting the typical run around that you get from manufacturers that don't want to help or take accountability for their products. However, I was met with the BEST experience that I could have hoped for. Not to mention that they took care of the issue within the same week that I had made contact with them. Needless to say, we will never buy another brand of sports bag!! Thank you Boombah for continuing to be AWESOME!! ... show more

My son loves this bag. Full catchers gear (including knee cushions) plus all regular baseball gear, including siding mitts fit. The rolling has worked wonderfully so far. Agree with other comments that the shoulder straps drag when using the wheels but we just tie them up. My son couldn’t pack his equipment himself until getting this bag.
