Ease of storage and easy to open and close. Assembly took 1 minute. The tray just snaps in place. Rubber feet want scratch floors and price is right for this ladder. This is a great ladder for everyday use. It’s a little heavy but very sturdy and useful when I need to change a lightbulb or grab something from a shelf that’s too high. It folds up and doesn’t take up too much space. I haven’t tried to attach the shelf yet but I’m hoping that’s easy as well.

I got this at a great price and was surprised at the quality of it when I unboxed it. I'm 5'7" 199lbs so I'm a thick man. This step ladder holds me and is sturdy. It's non slip which is good on tiles or slippery floors. It's the perfect height for what I need to do. It has a shelf at the top where I placed my tools that I needed for the job. Beautiful color - Barbie Pink! That is the main reason my wife chose this over all the other ladders listed. The utility tray can be attached or detached easily. I like it attached so I can place some items there such as cleansers, towels, screwdrivers etc. without the need to climb up and down. I find it a little hard to open/fold. Maybe it’s because it’s new. When opening it up, need to use some force to click it in place. That’s why I took out a star in my review. Seems to be a nice looking and handy household ladder. We already had a 3-step version of this ladder but were still using a standard folding wood ladder to change lightbulbs, and we realized that at age 78 we no longer feel safe on that one. This ladder is perfect for our needs. The steps are large for secure footing, and the tool platform holds just about anything that might be needed, eliminating the need to go up and down to get things. Surprisingly comfortable. Like the angle and the depth of the steps. I like that it’s all black and that the handle at the top is padded. The top piece can be open or closed depending on if you need it or not. It has numerous holes for tools and paintbrushes to be set down securely. I love this ladder for my home projects!!
