The media could not be loaded. I bought this model because I was tired of the lower cost models getting jammed or the motor burning out, and this had good reviews, at a moderate price, and was a crosscut shredder. It is much quieter than the models I've used in the past, could almost listen to the tv or radio while shredding. Purchased this for home use, shredding personal/private information. I should note that I tend to shred like once a year (clean out my files and shred). So I do alot at once. The 12 page max worked well but occasionally it would overload (even with 12 sheets, pretty sure the thickness of the paper is a factor). The Reverse function worked to free the overload with a little tugging and then I could reduce the stack and restart. Every 30 minutes or so, it would overheat and I would take a break. I could restart about 30 minutes later. My biggest complaint is that the shredding blades do not clear the shredded paper fully, see the picture and video clip (even if I use the forward button before lifting the shredder from the basket), so it is a very messy process when the basket is full. Shreds everywhere! The shredder top is also quite heavy which makes emptying not easy. I would try to lift and tip the top as shown in the picture so I could pull out the compacted but dangling shreds into the bin before emptying the bin. There really is no good way to not make a mess, and its impossible to fully clear the blades as the video shows. We will see how long this model lasts but I'm thinking not long given how compacted the shreds in the underside of the blades becomes. The manual recommends oiling the unit monthly but has no information on how to do that. And other than a damp rag to clean the shredding dust, there isn't much else for maintenance recommendations. So no idea how to clear the blades of shreds.

This shredder is great. It is very quiet and it comes with wheels so it is easy to move. We got this to replace our old one. I wish we had bought this sooner. The bin for the shredded paper is big and holds a lot. Great value for the money.

After owning this shedder for over two years I can say it has performed excellently. I have had zero issues with it and most importantly it has remained as silent as it was on the first day I used it. I will absolutely purchase this brand again the future.

When our older shredder finally bit the dust, we ordered this one. It is the perfect size for our home office, you can put a 13-gal. plastic bag in it making it easier to empty, and it is so quiet to run, unlike our previous one. It shreds with a great cross cut.

I've only had this shredder for about 9 months. It really looks nice in my office. Of course at first it worked great. Then about 6 months in it started with the overload flashing light. I would turn it on and only put one sheet of paper in and it immediately said it was jammed then you have to reverse it out turn it off turn it back on and when you tried it again it would work. Slowly over the last 3 months it's getting worse and more complicated to get it to work. Now when you turn it on put the paper in, says it's jammed, back it out, turn it off, turn it back on, you have to do that 3:00 or 4 times now before it will take a piece of paper. I do not recommend this shredder. I had an aurora for 6 years before I decided I wanted a larger shredder. The Aurora worked great every time. I thought this bouncing shredder looked really good in appearance and the reviews were good I thought. There are so many other shredders out there just pick a different one and save yourself a lot of trouble. This thing is heavy too when you're wanting to get rid of it.

The actual shredder works pretty well. The auto feeding part works ok, but it does try and suck too many pages at once sometimes, which is frustrating. Somehow shavings get behind the basket, no matter how often you dump it and they pool up in the back. This causes the basket not to slide in all of the way, and the safety feature stops it from shredding when this happens. It's kind of heavy and very annoying to pick this whole thing up to dump the trapped shavings. And sweeping it out is just as annoying because the shreds go everywhere. Honestly, I think you could get a much better shredder for the same price.
