  • WORTH. EVERY. PENNY.
Size: 200-Sheet Auto Feed
This thing is an absolute lifesaver. Not only can it shred for 60 minutes straight (maybe even longer) without getting overheated, but it's quieter than most of the fans I own (even when it's shredding cards). No gears or grinding or harsh sounds--just a very quiet hum. You do definitely have to make sure the papers you're shredding are oriented correctly to avoid them getting stuck (and avoid putting documents with staples or adhesive through), but as long as you do, this thing can handle loads of papers in no-time. It's super intuitive to use, and is pretty jam-resistant. I haven't had any issues with it, but am also very careful to make sure that all of the papers are loaded correctly/that there isn't anything going through that the manufacturer has recommended against, like adhesives, staples, etc.; and that all thicker materials (like credit cards) or smaller documents go through the appropriate feed. While it's definitely on the pricier side, it really was (and is) worth every penny. It might not look like an industrial shredder, but it definitely operates like one (and is SO much quieter than any shredder I've every encountered)! It is on the larger side, but it has (lockable) rotating wheels that make moving it around a breeze, and it isn't so heavy that you can't lift it up/carry it around (it does also have grooves/handles on the side to make lifting it easier). I really can't sing this thing's praises enough. It is such good quality--it's hard to believe there isn't a catch. I personally keep it in my car (I'm a professional organizer, and have found a big part of helping people declutter is shredding decades of sensitive documents that they no longer need, so keep it in the car so that I have it handy at any given session if needed), and don't have any difficulty getting it in or out, even with other things in the car. I try to be very careful with it, but occasionally other items in my car will fall over or bump into it, and it hasn't gotten scratched yet. I did a lot of research and comparison before deciding to buy this shredder, and it's by far the best in terms of "bang for your buck." It also seems to be one of the better reviewed shredders out there (almost every review I read about it from here gave glowing reviews, which I can't say about some of the seemingly similar products/brands). This thing truly is a beast/work horse. It's probably one of the best investments/purchases I've made, and I am so beyond glad that I decided to bite the bullet and buy this shredder. ... show more

  • Best Investment Ever!
Size: 200-Sheet Auto Feed
This is the best shredder I’ve ever purchased! I just load it and walk away. It shreds in minutes without loading and turns paper to very, very small pieces. There is no way someone could put those little pieces back together

  • Quiet, works well and takes an entire multi-page brochure without a hitch; heavy but powerful.
This is a review of the 24-page heavy duty shredder. I had a nice one that did about a dozen pages. After about 10 years it finally died. I replaced it with an Amazon one that lasted about 9 months.. I literally got tired of it jamming so I threw it out - literally. I bought this 24page monster for a lot of money to replace it. I’m glad I did. It is VERY heavy, and top heavy at that. Once in place, I used it for shredding lots of papers I had plus all the junk mail we get. It takes an entire Lands End catalog and Walmart brochures without a sweat. Feeding a dozen or two pagers into it at once, the motor never slowed or sounded like it was bogged down. It’s very quiet in operation. The unit has a fan that runs once it starts shredding too. I really like this machine and I’m glad I spent the extra money on it. The only negative is that the unit doesn’t “auto start”. You have to turn the power on (or, leaving the power on, push the On button). Not a huge issue at all, but every other shredder basically has “slide a page into the slot and it starts shredding”. I should mention that the slot is wide enough that you can get a bunch of pager in the ‘area’ of the slot and it starts feeding and shredding. My last Amazon shredder required much more direct precision for paper feeding. This unit is heavy and expensive. It’s also quiet and shreds the crap out of 20+ pagers at a time, no kidding. It’s the real deal. ... show more

  • The best one I’ve ever owned

This shedder is very quite, smooth, durable, resistance to jamming, fantastic quality for your funds, very easy to use and or operate.

  • Quiet, strong, efficient shredder
This shredder is QUIET and strong and holds alot. It is not a microshredder. It shreds the pieces to about 1/8th inch wide by 3/4" long. It is sturdy but light-weight and rolls easily on wheels. The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 stars is the handles. They are a flush indentation on each side, and are fine for picking up the shredder or moving it if facing it. But I keep the shredder under the desk sideways to save room, and it would be easier to move it if the handles had a deeper vertical indentation. It requires both hands to move it. It would be nice to roll it out from under the desk with one hand. However, this is a very minor suggestion. The shredder is the best home office shredder I've used under $200 and I would certainly buy it again. ... show more

  • Holy Cow Batman
This shredder is amazing. I've been using it for about a month and I just love it. No jams, pieces are infinitesimally small. I've not had the problem with the internal opening being too small as others have reviewed, but I'm only doing a few pieces at a time so maybe that's the trade off? You really can't put more than five sheets of plain paper at a time through at once, but it's a home shredder. Just keep up with your shredding and no need for huge volume. Or chill out and take your time, to get through a backlog. That's how I started. I even took my cross cut shredder pieces (which i realized were far too large and started me off on this journey) put them in small piles in envelopes I was shredding and reshredded them. Love the on / off, leave it on for awhile and it auto offs. Cute little tweedling noise. Reverse function (Oops! Too many sheets!) works well. Only downside I see is that the CD / credit card shredder functionality is not great because pieces come out as strips and are way too big. Easily enough solved, just put through regular slot, but bin must be empty or you'll get plastic in your paper recycling. Again, a worthwhile tradeoff for such small pieces of shredded paper. I really hesitated to spend this much, but haven't regretted it for one second. ... show more
