In the past, I haven't had much luck with Bonsai trees. I decided to do some research and try one more time. I bought a nice little Brazilian raintree, which stands about 10-12" tall. I've got it under a timed plant light. It sits in front of my hydroponic herb garden in the kitchen. I researched ingredients needed by Bonsai, the concentrations, and frequency of use. I noted the NPK concentrations as well as micronutrients, then went through Amazon, reading ingredient lists. This fertilizer seemed to have all of the recommended ingredients, in the proper proportions. I bought it a few weeks ago and have been using it long enough to see how it really performs. I mix 16 ounces at a time, in a capped bottle. Right now, it's the active growing season, so I'm watering with the mixed fertilizer every 2 weeks. My raintree LOVES this stuff! It's growing exponentially. It had a few leaves which were yellowing, mostly from shipment and change of environment, but it needed fertilizer. It's entirely healthy, with beautiful green leaves, and I have to trim it every week, because the growth is vigorous. I have to trim 1-2" off at least 3 places, every week. I'm just watering the soil at the bottom of the tree until saturated and running through, every 2 weeks (I have it scheduled on my phone alarm to remind me).
