Seemed like a good idea at the time. A smart AC that you can control with your phone. What they don’t mention in the product description is that the unit is solely reliant on wifi. No wifi, no air conditioning. Worked great for 2 months. Then, it wouldn’t power on at all with the power button. Tried to pair the device up, unplug it, hit the reset button on the power cord. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Nothing works. Since i am now beyond my return window, i was forced to contact the seller, which i did. Their solution? Email me a link to the user manual (i still have the one that came with the unit, genius). Tried to follow up on their response. Crickets. Now going through circles on this anytime A to Z refund. What a waste. I certainly wouldn’t call this a “smart” appliance, so you’d be “smart” not to waste your money on this turd of a product ... show more

I have this in a room that is about 100 to 150 sq bigger than this is rated for. And we have had some 99 to 100 deg days this summer and this did keep the room much cooler . the key is to shut the other doors leading into the room
