These propane cookers work very well and get VERY hot, but the overall product is very poorly manufactured. The legs are great, plugged on both ends and strong. But they plug into sockets that are merely spot tacked into place, not fully welded, and secured with small eye-bolts/nuts to clamp them in the sockets. The nuts are also just tack-welded, and could easily break loose. The frame is okay but the grates are welded with very little attention paid to keeping the pieces all flat. One short grate bar between my burner grates sticks up almost a half an inch! This will make it hard to slide a heavy pot across the deck, potentially being dangerous. This is another example of shoddy manufacturing. The regulator has an additional flow control valve to limit how much gas is being fed, and needs to be turned down. That’s a good thing because as the tank drains it cool and looses pressure, so this is how you will compensate for that. This is not mentioned in the instructions which are otherwise well done. I made an adhesive label for that red valve knob. (BTW and extra burner control knob was included in mine) The wind resistance of this cooker is VERY POOR. The SLIGHTEST breeze and the flames blow out. I have an additional windscreen coming for it, and that should have been included. I bought it as an emergency/camping stove to replace my BBQ that we are selling (seldom use it) and so for that very occasional or unlikely event of needing it after a big earthquake or ??? It will do. It’s important to be able to cook when the infrastructure is interrupted. A couple of tanks and this cooker should secure our food-safety. You do NOT want this thing tipping over because a leg weld failed, so I down-rated it accordingly. Please, STOP pumping these out as fast as possible and PAY ATTENTION to safety details in manufacturing process. ... show more
