Just to be clear this is not the mic you want if you need to speak to an audience. You have to have the echo turned all the way up to use it like that and that sounds well....echoy. I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas, she loves to sing along with songs on her phone, and this will make her feel like she's singing karaoke, and that is what this mic states, yes the volume for the singer could be louder, but I feel it's still a great and fun little gadget. I hope they fix the singers volume issue and if they do I'll buy an updated version, but this is perfect for sing a longs or just having fun. My wife owns one and I was really amazed at the sound and clarity of this little self contained , inexpensive gadget , I would really be surprised if even the high end units sound much better than this little guy , The person we picked them up for was buying them for xmas for his grandkids , I think I'm gonna do the same , as far as the other adjustments and built in features , as well as a really good battery , theres enough for them to sing they're little hearts out ... show more

Both the case and microphone are durable and of great quality. The rose gold color is very beautiful, the photo doesn’t do it justice. Immediately after opening it I was impressed by the whole package, case, weight, mic and most of all sound. It’s crisp and clean quality. The echo is a nice option it provides as well. It was easy to turn on and try out right away. I’m extremely pleased with this purchase. My first thought was “this is too nice to let my kids play with!” For the microphones in this similar and slight less price range, I highly recommend spending the extra ten bucks or whatever for quality one like this. It's not the best but I believe you get what you paid for. It you just want to have fun singing and bringing it around, I think this is ok to have.
