I am happy with this auger tip. The original one on my Tractor Supply auger only had 2 flutes and it just did not get a good initial grip in the hard clay we have here in North Florida. This tip fit right in the end of my auger shaft and cuts into the hard clay a lot easier than my original. This tip has a good weight to it, and it feels just as well made as my original. Bolt hole on center screw was miss aligned by about 1/16 ".
