Somehow I missed the reviews that said there are ZERO instructions. There are NO instructions included or online. It took me 3.5 solid hours to assemble. I used the socket end of the wrench in photo to attach the 12 arms - 2 bolts each. You need very small hands to do this part. I opted to unwrap the leges in sections and left the plastic on for protection until all where attached. After the arms were attached I had a heck of a time getting the top and bottom connected I used a long handled spoon to press through the wrapped wires and make an opening. Attaching the 24 square globes requires an Alan wrench that is included and teeny tiny bolts. These bend very easily and pop off so some were done more than once. Electrician had no problems installing it. I did used the chain and wrapped the black cable in the enclosed gold velvet sleeve. I do like the look of the light. It is nice white light. The fixture is not dimmable. Waiting for dark to see how much light it throws off when it’s dark out. The gold color is nice it’s not shiny and it is the look I was going for. So one star for assembly and 5 star for appearance. ... show more

LOVE THE BLACK! 4 star bc the chain is too short to hang over dining table so you have to buy an extender. Returned the gold one and bought the black one - black looks more timeless. Yes, it takes time to put it together (2hrs) but so worth it. When tightening the glass globes, be careful not to over tighten bc you can crack the small globe. I love it! ... show more

The lamp is built solid and I like the design. The instructions for assembly are worthless, can't read them, however you can figure out what to do. Extra care must be taken to not scratch the paint off with the tools you will have to use to get the lids off the cylinder and screwing things back together. You have to put all the arms on which takes about 7hours. Customer service was exceptional, they reached out to me to see if I needed assistance and send replacement shade fro one I cracked on assembly. ... show more

Purchased for my master bedroom remodel as recommended by my interior decorator. Adds elegance and class as well as color options to match your decor. While I didn't assemble it or install it, it appeared the task was tedious to those that did do it - getting all the bulbs in properly with very tiny, tiny screws. Looks like it requires a certain level of precision as I see some of the lights are not completely flush straight. I found several of the tiny screws embedded in my carpet after the fact and hope I personally don't have to change any of the bulbs ever. ... show more

If you’re handy then this will be pretty easy to assemble. Otherwise, you will have a difficult time. Has no instructions for assembly. Lots of unnecessary screws. I didn’t use the top screws for the arms, I only used the bottom screws.

    • BEWARE - Long assembly with no instructions

Well... it works. So that is good. Be prepared to spend a few hours to assemble and hang the fixture. You'll also need a very small wrench or tiny needle nose pliers to put it together. I also did so with no instructions. The manufacturer says to contact them for instructions, but what they provide is instructions on how to hang the fixture, NOT how to put the fixture together itself! I replied back asking for more detailed instructions on how to put it together and they never got back to me. On top of that, the hanging instructions are incorrect. The round plate that attaches to the ceiling has two screws that go vertically into the ceiling. On the instructions it show two screws horizontally. So you can mail for instructions but they will not match the current products design. Good luck! ... show more

This piece is stunning!! Looks like I paid double or even more! The only reason I took off a star is because it was really hard to assemble (one screw didn’t match up ) and my installer also told me it was difficult to install.

I was excited for this item when i came i got it professionally installed and paid 150 for it. To my surprised after it was installed the light it came with a yellow bases light bulb even though in the description says cool white and the box of the bulb shows it can be the day light color. False advertisement all around and only to find out after i paid to get it installed. It wasn't even that hard to put together, the material of. Glads cover is cheap one came cracked and the paint was scratched on the side as well. I called to complain and ask for a refund they wouldent give me a refund and instead after negotiating they gave me enough to buy nee light bulbs. To my surprised the standard g4 lights aren't even a match because the original lights it came with has a thinner base non of the standard g4 bulbs worked.
