One point to make: when I initially received the item the button to set the pass code and fingerprint was not working, ie not beeping or initiating the set…if that’s the case take the panel off inside of the door (6 Phillips screws). May need to plug the cord from the button back into the master board. It’s obvious where that goes. Very easy. Now works great, looks great and has a lot of room. Looks cool, but above all it works. Not sure how strong the door is, the back is made of medal and the front glass/acrylic. Best bet is if someone were to pick it up and smash it it will break the acrylic but the door should stay closed and unable to break into. Has keys incase fingers print doesn’t work or battery dies. The fingerprint feature is absolutely wonderful, tested it on other finger and only opens to the one programmed, only putting this out there because other safe brands have bad reviews on the fingerprint scanners ... show more

    • DO NOT DEPEND ON FINGERPRINT AUTHENTICATION ALONE!

For the most part, it does what I need it to do, but not as expected. That having been said, DO NOT DEPEND ON FINGERPRINT ACCESS ONLY. Immediately after successfully setting it up to open only with my fingerprint, I asked another who was not programmed in to try opening it with their fingerprint. To my great disappointment, it opened! After cleaning off the fingerprint window to assure my residual fingerprint was not left on the window, I had them try again, and again it opened when it should not have. It does have the ability to be programmed requiring both a numeric code plus fingerprint. With it programmed in the two mode access method we tried it again and it would then not recognize the other's fingerprint. I have no idea what changed, but will not trust or use the fingerprint-only mode I bought it for. Other than that, it works well and looks great, if that factors into your criteria for a safe. To do it over, I would probably purchase a lower cost safe that operates with two factor authentication. ... show more

I love my safe. It was easy to set up. Heavier than I expected. Sturdy. I love the fingerprint entry. I lost the key to my last safe and had to break it open to get the stuff in back out. With this one I don't have to worry about the key, other than the master keys which I keep well hidden and away from the safe. But this is quite roomy inside and just a great safe for the price. How easy it would be to break into if ever needed, I don't know, but it seems quite secure for my needs of handguns, cash, and jewelry. ... show more

Brand new out of the box and the safe doesn't work. The internal battery mechanism is broken. Its clearly very low quality and terribly frustrating to have to deal with returning this item. Garbage! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Not only does this safe look sleek and expensive but it works so good. Programming it was so easy and took all of 3 min. It opens smoothly and shuts great. For the cost of this safe it is way worth the money. This is one of the cheapest safes this size I could find and you would never guess it was so cheap. I've been looking at safes for a while and this is exactly what I wanted for half the cost definitely not disappointed! All around thumbs up. ... show more

I wanted a smaller safe that didn't really look like a safe, this fit the bill! Was able to easily place a Honeywell Fireproof box ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIAO77W ) in this with room to spare (to ensure fireproof for needed items and organize space in safe as this has no internal shelves/dividers)! Pros: -Looks great -Arrived in perfect cosmetic shape -Plenty of space (width/depth) for items, height for me works fine just make sure what your going to put into the safe will fit -Size of safe allows you to utilize the top (further hiding this is a safe). I was able to sit my Brother MFC printer on top with no overhang -Internal lining was done nicely -Second key slot cover included (very nice) -Support, I contacted them about the cover (via amazon communication as there was no other method provided, I much prefer voice/email over having to use the "contact" button inside a retailers website) and they got back to me within 24hrs, so good response time for their users Cons: -While wouldn't say useless, but the fingerprint reader needs you to place your finger to unlock in the same orientation that it was setup in (yes, you can use the other "spots" to semi-resolve this) -Setup of the pin/fingerprint while not hard, was not smooth, and it "lost my pin once at the beginning and I had to renter this to resolve. -Not fireproof at all, other than the exterior is metal and this is how fire-resistance is determined. -Bolts "close" while door is opened if the button is pressed at all -Key slot cover works well to hide slot, but the magnet feels weak and can be lost. Wished was a slide or hinge -Weight... this one is tricky, but my first impression was its not heavy enough (materials/size/purpose for what it is). With the dimensions and its empty weight its easy for someone to pick up and take away, but they are not going to be running with it for long distances. The reason I said this was tricky was depending on what you put into the safe can easily add weight making this a non-issue -Bolt holes, I appreciate this (not using them) I wish they came with "caps" so people like me who do not use them will not have open holes in their safe. -I know this doesn't need a shelf, but wished it had a divider (adjustable/removable) to organize with. I have accomplished this with a lockbox, but wish the company had provided something -Hate batteries as the primary method on a stationary/permanent item. Wish this had USB or AC power with the internal batteries in the door as a backup incase their was an issue with the primary power source vs the battery box provided. -Cost... while this is subjective, I would offer that there are other safes that provide the same/better size and features than this. I ultimately went with this do to the appearance, but feel its overpriced at the price point I paid. ... show more

First, this thing looks really cool. Also, it's really fun. The fingerprint feature and the little sing-song noise that the safe plays (I believe you can turn that feature off) are awesome, and the fingerprint feature is really convenient. It allows for multiple users, and I can confirm that it works well for 2 users. The pin feature also works well. It's quite spacious and is perfect for our intended purpose.
