  • Perfect size for small projects
I have a home shop where I make knives as a hobby and do most of our mechanic work. I'm always fixing or building something. I have been wanting a small sandblaster to use for small projects. I want to sand blast a knife blade and see if the finish is desirable. I'll also use it to clean small parts. This is a great size blasting gun that is exactly the right size for my needs. I already have a large air compressor and everything I need except blasting sand. It came with a couple of extra nozzles, some work gloves, air fitting, etc. The only complaint I have is the goggles which must have a factory defect. The lenses are completely opaque. One of the pictures show them. We thought there might be a plastic covering but none of us can find one so I guess I'll need new goggles. Not withstanding that, for the price of this kit and the usefulness I still think it's worth 5 stars. ... show more

  • Works For Me
I ordered this ‘NANPU Air Sand Blaster Gun with Gravity Feed - Ceramic Nozzle, Metal Body’ to use to help refinish my metal patio chairs. I’ve always wanted to try a sand blaster, and this one seemed perfect for my job. For the price, this ‘NANPU Air Sand Blaster Gun with Gravity Feed - Ceramic Nozzle, Metal Body’ is a decent tool. But be advised, it’s only for small jobs like the one I’m doing. Don’t go expecting to use it to strip down the paint on a car or anything…it would not hold up. The quality for such a big job really isn’t there. This is ‘Harbor Freight-quality’ all the way. The body of this sand blaster is all plastic…not metal as the description says…and not heavy duty as I said. But the company does include all the connectors to hook it to your compressor. And there’s even a pair of goggles and a pair of gloves thrown in…awwww. Being a gravity fed gun, this ‘NANPU Air Sand Blaster Gun with Gravity Feed - Ceramic Nozzle, Metal Body’ needs to be held pretty much in a full upright position for it to work properly. So when you get to the last of your sand in the chamber, it doesn’t want to feed. But that’s pretty standard with gravity fed tools. This sand blaster gun does work ok. I tried it on one of my deck chairs, and it did a decent job removing the paint. It does make a mess, though. And the spray pattern is a bit wide for my tastes. All in all, this ‘NANPU Air Sand Blaster Gun with Gravity Feed - Ceramic Nozzle, Metal Body’ is an ok option if you’re looking for a sand blaster for small jobs. It does work, and for the price that’s ok. ... show more

  • Handy Economical Sand Blaster Gun
For non-professional use, this is a handy sand blaster gun. It does a good job, but I would say that the quality of construction isn’t quite up to something appropriate for everyday use. However, for a homeowner or hobbyist it is more than sufficient. It is easy to fill and operate. So far, it has done a good job shooting a consistent stream of sand for me. I am able to control the sanding action and the trigger performs well. I have had others that delay or are inconsistent and that can be a big hassle. It is nice that they have included gloves and goggles, you definitely need protection, but the sets included are pretty light duty stuff. Overall, I would say this sand blaster set is a good value. ... show more

  • Great for Small Jobs
This is a handheld sand blaster. I believe it will work well on my small projects. I have used it with baking soda so far but intend to try sand soon. It does take a large amount of product (baking soda, sand or walnut shell) to blast something clean. I tested it on an old copper soldering iron and it did clean the surface. I think it will work well on glass etching. I don't think it would work very well on large projects because you would have to constantly load the gravity feed which doesn't hold a large amount of product. The gun is well-made, but a little pricy. It has 3 ceramic nozzles so it should last a while. I'm not an expert but I think it should have a tighter spray nozzle as the one provided is a larger opening. ... show more

  • Sand blasting gun
This is a well made air driven sand blasting gun. The enclosed instructions are easy to follow and assembly was very easy. The material reservoir is well made. After acquiring a respirator and blasting material, I found the process to work very well on some small parts I was working on . I was very pleased with how well this blasting gun worked. I think this tool is well made and I would recommend it. ... show more

  • Always wanted one
So this is a pretty low cost product. Its semi reflected in the quality, but for a diy person. It should do the smaller jobs you're going to have. You will spend more on a compressor to run it and media to shoot. You really should use a blasting cabinet so you can reclaim the media used. But if you're doing something like a frame, you can use the coconut stuff that will biodegrade. It does the job, but it isn't for big projects. This is good for parts and panels. Now restoration projects. Great for my little uses. It shouldn't break because it's just 2 valves with a bucket. ... show more

  • Great for small jobs
I have a much larger pressure pot for sandblasting but it's not simple to use. I also have a pressure washer one that uses water along with grit. But that one takes even longer to set up. With this it's very quick. The hopper doesn't hold much grit and it's not pressurized but it does work. The media will run out pretty quickly so you're not going do a car panel. But if you want to clean up a small spot quickly, say remove a bit of rust so it can be touched up with paint this will do it. ... show more
