all im gonna say is if you have a chronic foot condition like me , need a little arch support, etc and are debating on buying this… BUY IT!! it’s much cheaper than other products i’ve seen and tried before, I ordered this and three other things and i only liked this one. You get to decide how tight you want this and it’s very easy to put on and take off, unlike other ones i’ve tried they have a weird gel bubble in the middle which made my feet hurt. Another one i tried was really constrictive, Had Latex in it as well and caused my foot extreme itchiness and redness over all really uncomfortable. But this? this is heavenly. Got this for plantar faucitis. It is nice especially for support of arch. I am not able to wear it with shoes, but works great for flip flops (I know I shouldn't but it is hot here). The only thing I am not fond of is the heal hole, which can become uncomfortable after long wear. Otherwise, this brace make a for a nice stable step, with good pressure and the ability to hold your foot solid. wish I had read description better to know it is not a stretch brace (straps that go to calf from toes, to stretch out tendons) but that is my bad. bottom line good brace ... show more

    • Plantar fasciitis rescue, but at cost of heel discomfort
I was dying to find something to help heal plantar fasciitis fast before vacation. I saw numerous pleasant reviews about this brace and ordered it. I wore it overnight, pulling the crisscross straps tightest to provide a near 90° angle. That plus some stretches had immediate effects on the dull, burning pain. I was shocked and pleased! But the heel will leave uncomfortable hot spots on your foot, both on the sides and the back. I wore a liner sock and bandaids but still had uncomfortable red spots. Eventually I used a tall hiking sock and folded down the top to cover my heel for ample protection. ... show more

    • Exactly What I Was Looking For- But You’re Gonna Have to Cut the Heel
I’m 7 weeks into a level 3 ankle sprain with partially torn ligaments. This brace is exactly what I need- Velcro on/off with great support that easily fits inside shoes. However, after wearing it for two days, I immediately understood what other reviews said about having to cut around the heel. I sprained my right ankle to the point of not being able to put weight on it and needed an ankle brace with firmer support. When I was finally able to put weight on the ankle and begin driving (4-5weeks later) I needed ankle support that allowed more flexibility for the foot and this BodyProx was the perfect item. It’s so easy to put on and take off. I did read the reviews before purchasing and somebody mentioned removing the circular cloth at the heel as it was not allowing the fabric to stretch enough. For me, it was creating an extra “bump” that was uncomfortable for my foot so I went ahead and removed the whole circular cloth without cutting the stretchy fabric. That worked wonders and made the item much more comfortable! This ankle support also fit in my sneaker much better than the ones with the stiff brace. Highly recommend once you have recovered enough and just need some lighter support. ... show more

I bought this to see if it could support my bad sprained ankle and it worked great. With the straps, I was able to move them around and not press on the sore spots like the boot hit (hospital gave me the boot). It gave me good support, I could wear it with my bigger shoes. Worked great.

We purchased this for my wife's post-stroke rehabilitation. It provides very good, comfortable support for her ankle. She wears it about 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.
