Overall the quality of the bike is okay for the money. However, it comes partially pre-assembled and that was done poorly on the bike I received. If you haven't worked on bikes, you will be stumped on what to do to get it ready to ride. When received, the rear wheel would barely move, the handlebars were hard to turn, the brake cable wasn't routed properly, and adjusting the front brake pads to seat properly and stay lined up correctly wasn't something a layman would know how to do. Also, the front wheel needed to be trued. If you have a friend who does their own bike wrenching and you don't, well, plan to give them a call if you buy this bike.
