Super important....there are blogs and other discussions about where the little toggle thing on the thermostat should be. On top at 12 or bottom at 6. One guy posted the toyota Manuel and......if you put it in facing the bottom 6 o'clock.....then it will allow the engine to burp the air out of the coolant system. At 12 o'clock.....then you have to manually burp it or your truck will blow up. And double check with the toyota site to see if the thermostat fits the vehicle. Dont depend on amazon for that. The first thermostat I got....amazon said it fit but toyota gave a different thermostat to buy from amazon. ... show more

A little hard to install but once that is done this thermostat works fine in my 2016 Toyota Highlander, 6-cyl engine.

It does not fit 1998 Toyota Camry. Too big. They need to change the cars that it fits. We had all already dissembled and now we need to reorder.
